There have been some incidents where clans believe they are being forced into war because a co-leader (assuming the leader isn't starting it) is starting the matchmaking for war and not fessing up when the war starts. This can be avoided by choosing your co-leaders wisely of course, but what if you thought you could trust them? Reveal the person's name who initiated the war search as a safety net just in case. Its simple and can't hurt anyone.
I totally agree with this. My friend and I always tell everyone not to start a war but, someone always starts it and we want to know who.
If your co leaders aren't trustworthy enough to say if they started the war or not they shouldn't be co leaders...

I agree with your idea- once or twice I've logged on to find we've just started a prep day and no one says that they've started it. I find this annoying and I like to know who starts each war. Maybe an notification saying something like this:
'Benadict the gr started a war'
And then when an opponent is found:
'You are at war against Qwerty'
I find the whole 'The Bros have declared war on you' or whatever it says terribly misleading.
This is a excellent, and simple idea supercell should use. It is not asking much, just tracking who hit a button to start the war. I like it.

It won't hurt for the feature to be there nonetheless. The unexpected happens sometimes, even accidents! Like I said, if your clan has never had the problem then good for you! It's not like if the reveal comes, you'll be caught off guard. It would just be a confirmation. Nothing more, nothing less.
I have a clan of about 35 that was given to me by who is now my co-leader.... I'm the only one that starts the war unless I ask him to do it.... I even think ELDERS have too much power to kick out people... but hey, I don't give it away as an incentive to join like many clans. Drop your co-leaders if you can't keep them under control, maybe they will get the hint.
That is an idea I've already considered and have done. Though it does make everyone suffer. I know ALL the people I have a co-leader in real life. And they all will swear up and down they didn't start a war...clearly one is lying but I wouldn't know which one as NO ONE will fess up. I see your point but now everyone must suffer because of one person's doing...and being as I don't like punishing someone who did nothing wrong, it bugs me.Quote:

If you have problems with promoting. Try using a method my former clan used. We would only promote people if 3 elders agreed. Now with co-leader, u should have 3 co's agree for co/elder and 3 elders for elder promotion.
