Revealing Who Started a War within the Clan

There have been some incidents where clans believe they are being forced into war because a co-leader (assuming the leader isn't starting it) is starting the matchmaking for war and not fessing up when the war starts. This can be avoided by choosing your co-leaders wisely of course, but what if you thought you could trust them? Reveal the person's name who initiated the war search as a safety net just in case. Its simple and can't hurt anyone.

I totally agree with this. My friend and I always tell everyone not to start a war but, someone always starts it and we want to know who.

If your co leaders aren't trustworthy enough to say if they started the war or not they shouldn't be co leaders...

I agree with your idea- once or twice I've logged on to find we've just started a prep day and no one says that they've started it. I find this annoying and I like to know who starts each war. Maybe an notification saying something like this:

'Benadict the gr started a war'

And then when an opponent is found:

'You are at war against Qwerty'

I find the whole 'The Bros have declared war on you' or whatever it says terribly misleading.

This is a excellent, and simple idea supercell should use. It is not asking much, just tracking who hit a button to start the war. I like it.

Well, judgement can be wrong. People you thought you could trust might do it and you wouldn't think it was them. And if you have more than one co-leader, you can't possibly rule someone out if no one is confessing...I understand what you mean, but I only promote people to co-leader if I've known them for a long while. This isn't the case for everyone but nonetheless, this will still help everyone.

Question: what's the issue about a non-desired war started ?

I believe the game only counts the wins, so who cares about the losses ?
