I'd like someone else's Perspective.

Hey guys... I'm kind of stuck right now. I'm currently TH8 and recently took all my spare change in and got a bunch of gem money. ;) So currently I'm on the fence on weather I should take the plunge to TH9 or just up all my defenses even more on TH8. The only think is I'm getting kind of bored of TH8.

I'd like to farm more, but I also don't want to drop trophies, as I've become proud to where I stand now. (I was at about 1750).

So tell me guys. If you had this village with that amount of gems, what the hell would you do? I'm honestly stuck! Please give me your opinions! Also would like some tips on a better base, as this layout isn't doing the trick for me. :confused:

Note: Though unlikely, it is possible that I could buy gems in the future. (if that makes any difference, I'm not sure.)

Build a new one without Wb distractions :(

Just at a glance, at the very least get your wizards maxed for TH8 before making the jump. There is a ton still to upgrade, especially a boatload of money on walls, but if you're really bored its just a game might as well go for it. But seriously do upgrade the wizards.

With the gems, I would just keep your barracks constantly boosted so you can farm millions of gold quickly, to upgrade walls and towers.

You gotta long way to go before u need to upgrade to th9... Max your defenses out and walls

Drop your trophy lvl stop upgrading your collectors and farm

Stay put til your defenses are at or near max. Also you should be at lvl 7 walls before you jump

I have considered that. But I'm not on that much to attack over and over.

About where do you think I should drop my trophies to?

You've got a long way to go before TH9. Looking at the fact your giants and WBers are not lvl 5 which suggests your other troops are not upgraded. Also your low lvl cannons, Wizard towers, teslas and walls. I'd suggest being patient and working your way up slowly. Occasionally use your gems to speed up the last few hours or day of an upgrade.

Currently I have barbs, archers, and soon to be goblins maxed for my town hall. Next is wb.
