Hi Everyone!
Am enjoying this game VERY much! Although I do have a question regarding friends;
what exactly are the benefits?
I know that you can go to their roadside stand, and help out with their boat orders, but is there anything else on their farms that I should be looking for/helping out with??

Okay so you know you can help out with their boats and like Fezzerz said you can revive their trees and bushes which is for your Green Thumb achievement and gives you some xp when you revive them.Quote:

You can visit their road side shop. Some don't advertise at all since they have many neighbours they don't need to advertise or give their neighbours some time for first choice. You always have a couple of shops to browse when the Daily Dirt has no useful adverts.
Adding new friends will also open up some more boxes in your road side shop so you can sell more items at the same time. And you can sell things faster as your friends can visit your shop easily too. For example I hardly ever advertise because it's all bought by my neighbours.

and one more additional tip: if you're new to Hay Day, please DO advertise because there's this achievement called Citizen Kane which requires you to advertise 5+100+2000 times ( achievements Citizen Kane I II and III). That's pretty much work to think about, because it takes 30 minutes between two consecutive free advertisements on the Daily Dirt newspaper.
And from my amateur experience (i'm new too), people with a lot of friends sometimes cannot be able to check everyone's roadside shops, they might miss out on your shop.
The bennefits of havin friends ia that you can help them and they can gelp you. Plus some of them can be very entertaining to talk to lol
I help their boats, revive their trees and buy stuff from their shops. I like to trade with them as well
