Worst update ever! Please give us the old CoC back.

Hello,

I am here to share my problem. (sorry for my bad english and i hope you can understand it)

I have spent alot of time,money and work to upgrade all my walls to level 7.
Since a week ago everything was going fine and actually i was getting back for what i've worked for. My town was getting attacked but 8/10 of the attacks were wins for me and i was not losing much loot.

But since after the update i am getting farmed!
As soon as my shield drops i am losing my loot.
I have tried everything with the walls but they even get to my deposits with 4 wallbreakers! While even my canons and defens are 80% up to date. Check out my town please it shows 1,2 million gold and i need 1,5 million of gold to upgrade my tower. But it toke me 2 days since the update and i still can't get the 1,5 million. Whenever i gather 200k and my shield drops off. Someone attacks me and i lose the 200k. Like my defence is worth nothing.

-What are walls usefull for now?: Why are they so expensive if 4 wallbreakers can get to my gold storages?
-Why am i getting attacked immediately as soon as my shield drops? While before the upgrade this was not happening?
-Why am i suffering from losses while before the upgrade i could save a bit of gold and elixir. What is the point if you can no longer save gold and elixir for upgrades?

Please do something because this has ruined the game and the fun of it is gone!

-Also i have a complaint about the hidden teslas! Why didn't we get a warning to move the teslas! After the update thousands of players made losses because enemies were able to spawn on it!


Still back to the main point.
I payd 200k for level 7 walls
others payd 500 k for level 8 walls
but 4 wallbreakers go trough it like it is butter.
THIS IS NOT FAIR atleast make the walls stronger or change the wallbreakers!

Woow... That's a lot of dark elixir going away from you O.o

I'm trying to look how I can 2 star you but haven't figured out yet.

*EDIT: i see your weak point for the new AI wallbreakers--> your top corner, 5-6 bombs and they're in the center, stealing your dark elixir and gold/elixir away. Try to set some traps in the top corner, near the walls (dropping spot)

You are far from maxed, mate. Better go upgrading those mortars and wizard towers ASAP!

i think one of the problems is you have quite a lot of resources right in the middle - lightning would be quite effective - take gold and the DE - try to spread them out a bit.

The second suggestion would be to segment the middle of your base, with the new WB ai it should be easier to get deeper if the attacker knows how to use them - once they have a small hole the goblins will go right in.

Your base isn't bad but you REALLY need to upgrade your splash defences, they are your strongest defensive structures and you seem to have done the cannons - which arn't so effective first. I know the cannons look cool but they are one shot one target.

Putting your TH away from the defences might help attract casual low levels who are hunting cups - your TH is in range of the cannon...low level players may be scared away by that. 99% of the attacks on me are those people....they would never attack me or you for that matter if it were not for my TH being a long way outside, they attack you, they get the cups and you get 12 hours with no people like me and most of the forum hunting your gold.

OP if you would like to see what a nearly maxxed TH8 base looks like check out old Hkuna Matata's base, almost all skull walls max defences - he's Moe in the clan called Bonbee is a Cat, he's also a VERY good base designer, you might want to get some tips from his layout.

upgrade your mortars and wiz towers they are vital. you have your town hall on the outside so obviously a farmer.. you can do them all at once if you get enough gold and then raid for gold and use it for walls while it upgrades so you have nothing to get raided, th8 you can get black walls. segment the resources also. it's one big honey pot once they breach the centre.

That's what puzzles me. He's got a farmer's base yet it takes him a while to loot 200k each and then he stops once he reaches that.

My post in no way was pointless. The focus of my post was a question, I'm sure you know what that is. I was asking you, why it was necessary to say "what he said". Honestly, what is the need for that? To raise your post count? that is the only reason I can see, but id love to see what you can come up with, maybe I will aggree with it :p

The main problem is that all your storages are grouped together in a single compartment. Once enemy troops have access to the inside of the compartment its pretty much over.

I think, what u should do is just " adapth"
if the WB AI changed it way, try to change ur way to def.
nothing big.
Me my self, found it challenging when its getting harder to play.

Wallbreakers are too OP now. -Walls have no value anymore thats my point. I got a whole clan clueless complaining about this update.

BTW thx all for the info. I will try some and see if it works.. But upgrading my mortars and wizzard towers? I cant complete 1,5 mill to upgrade my tower anymore let stand how am i ever going to upgrade my mortars and wizzard towers now? Yes on a very long period with trying trying and hoping that they dont steal my gold. Thats spending a week to gather money for upgrading 1 of my defens piece.. Is it worth it? I mean i unlocked a fourth builder but 3 of them can't build anymore and are staying on stand-by because i can't save anymore for updates.. They have thrown my town and many others towns into beginners..

This update is very bad and will make alot of people quit the game.. Please do a rollback!!

I don't think a rollback is feasible nor likely.

I can empathize with your frustration, particularly if you spent real money in the game. I'd suggest a bit of the proverbial taking a step back to take two forwards. Regroup, upgrade those mortars asap, rejigger yer base.

If the game was static, then I, for one, would find it rather monotonous. The evolving paths make for more strategy (DE for DE troops or heroes?, elix troops vs DE troops, which troops, etc etc). Choices make for more strategy, and adaptation can be frustrating.

There are many people here who can try to help.

Firstly, your defence is not near maxed.
Seriously give the new WB AI a chance. I was also like you initially.
Read up the AI threads and you will find that the new AI is better.
Changes will come very often or would you have a game that never changes?
The new challenges are created when there are changes.
Similarly other players have not gotten on the new changes so you can also do the same to raid them.

I am also at TH8 with lvl 5 troops.
I can get about minimum 150K gold per raid.
I farm too.

I would just like to say that most of u r full of ur self and never have anything good to say to someone's post. Ego problem in this forum.
btw the only person here that wasn't judgmental or a a$$ was Daddy. U guys and gals should be more helpful to other members like him

I agree with the camp saying "why the hell can't you make 1.5 mil"

nah the worst part was the decorations............
i bought all of it for defence and now its just useless...........
SC has dumbed down the game , seems like their main :( target group for updates are newer players and hardcore gemmers...............

Farming will be much harder with this update. You had better break open your checkbook and upgrade those walls!!

I do agree, maybe try switching up your attacking strategies. I'm a th8 too, and use 60 gobs, 60-ish archers, 4 wallbreakers (Only 4 because I usually attack th7's and they don't have much walls), and 12 giants. It should make it easier to farm for gold. Also take into considerations of the helpful comments to your base before in the thread. Upgrading mortars and wizard towers should be made a top priority, because they do splash damage and kills goblins fast. From your battle records, many used goblins, so it might have been one of the problems.

:) Whilst I am grateful for your nice comment about me, but others have been positive also in this thread as well.

I think the OP is a bit emotional in his request, it sounds like he is panicking and that tends to mean responses get emotional.

I don't know about you guys but the threads that get the best response are matter of fact and above all humble:

Less "This is terrible and unfair it needs to be changed"
More "I have a problem I would appreciate your advice"

Serious all the people that are pointing out and are saying that i need to upgrade walls and wizzard tower or that i am not 80% upgraded...

Please downgrade your village and try it for yourself...

Have you noticed since update ur not getting attacked by one barb, yea because you can't do that anymore people are now trying a lot harder than they have been deal with protect your resources more. I'm losing a lot of resources too suck it up.

The new wall breakers are great, I don't know what you guys are complaining about. Just give it time, they are much smarter and it makes the game more enjoyable for the masses. I know that change is difficult sometimes, put on your "big boy pants" and deal with it.

I know it's been mentioned before by others but you upgraded to TH8 to early. You didn't even max out TH7 first. Your mortars to lvl 5 should be your number 1 goal so you can one hit lvl 5 archers. Your mortar taking 2 hits to kill archers is a huge disadvantage. Then you need to upgrade your wizard towers so they can eat through goblins quickly. Cannons and archer towers are mainly used to take down giants quickly. Your splash damage is what you need higher in level so you can mow through teir 1 troops.

It's actually quite fair because your wb's do the same damage to their walls that they do to yours.

Get over your entitlement issues and you'll live a happier life

I find the new update great. I haven't had a wall banger get in to my core yet, and I've had multiple attack with guys using 10 or more wb. I found putting walls further out helps. I'll post my base and maybe u can get a idea.
