The Pirate!

Introducing a new dark barrack troop! The Pirate! This Pirate Troop is from the mysterious beaches we all want to know about.. But the Pirate isn't gonna share any knowledge! This Pirate wields a sharp sword and wears a pirate hat and eye patch. It is no monster, just human, with a long black beard and messy black hair under his hat. As most pirates, this pirate just loves loot! It is the first dark elixir troop that aims for loot. Here are some stats!

Name: Pirate
Hitpoints: 650
Damage per second: 120 (2x on loot buildings)
Training cost: 350 dark elixir
Fav Target: Resources
Damage type: Single Target
Targets: Ground
Housing space: 6
Training time: 8 minutes
Movement speed: 25

This troop is meant to be used in medium sized groups of 5-10 with a meat shield, maybe. Get that loot! It's decent hitpoints allow it to get some good damage in on resources! Be careful though, it's cost is pesky! Although good for farming gold/elixir. Please leave comments if you think it's underpowered or overpowered!

They don't need a meat shield they have a ♥♥♥♥load of hit points, making them a little OP. I do like the idea of another resource-targeted troop. The only reason I don't initially like the pirate is because the game is medieval. I mean look at the troops in the game! Barbarian, archer, wizard, giant, witch, it's based loosely around 13th century Europe, so throwing in a random idea like a pirate would kind of throw it off.

Where do pekkas, hog riders, golems, and healers come in around 13th century Europe? Where do they come in at any point in time?

Pekkas seems legit. Only if she's a knight or samurai. If she's confirmed a robot then yeah. Hog riders, I think that's celtic. Actually, no one rides hogs. Golems are fantasy creatures. That is legit in medieval games. Same for healers since I think they are fairies. Or faeries. Either one.

But you forgot the balloon. Unless it's because you saw my previous post then maybe. Balloons ain't legit in medieval games.

Yeah, I forgot to give feedback.
This troop is op and overpriced(only when nerfed anyway).

Health is fine.
Damage way too high.
Housing space too low.
Movement speed too random. And probably needs to be decreased as a tank type.

Also, pirates aren't really that suitable as tanks.

Pirate does not fit the game theme at all.

Ok, thanks for all the replies guys. Positive and negative! I've made some tweaks..

300 Hitpoints
95 Damage per Second (2x on resources)
375 Dark elixir
Housing space- 10
Keep the replies coming! I want to fix this troop.
About the old 13th century stuff- I don't see how the game is all that 13th century.. Maybe the troops, but let's look at defenses and other buildings-
Inferno tower- High tech "disco" that shoots multiple flames somehow..
Xbow- Shoots very fast, faster than any manual bow.
Level 11 walls are very electric and modern.
Minions are more of a scientists pet, in my opinion.
Pekka's are not 13th century (in my opinion). The pekka is listed as unknown. We cannot decide whether it is modern or older.

Not a bad idea but could use some tweakings because it seems a bit OP
