Continue Hogs ore lvl up minions?

My hogs are now lvl 3 and my minions are now lvl 4. My question is most of time my army is 24 balloons lvl 6 and 50 minions. i've heard hogs are very good so i started upgrading them. But my the question is are they really worth it? ore should is stick with balloons and minions? And upgrade minions further instead of hogs?:)

Hogs are good but really make a dent in your dark elixir. If you don't need dark elixir and just want to own people upgrade hogs. If not, upgrade minions.

I would upgrade hogs. Although i have not done so myself, high lvl hog raids are known to destroy bases.

Upgrade the Minions. They're easy/cheap on the DE, can be used effectively with the Loonion Strategy, as well as can be used with BAM = better farming.

Thanks for reactions, stil don't know what to do, friend in my clan says that hogs indeed destroy bases. im not saving up for anything else and i farm enough even with an army that cost me 45m to build each time

Well, if you're active in Clan wars then I suggest you upgrade hogs since they are very useful in wars especially if you're attacking high lvl bases 70+.

lvl 5 minion upgrade time is shorter than the lvl 4 hog, by like 2 days?, so do minion. Or do hog. Does it really matter at this point? lol. Both have linear upgrades, incremental growth. The lvl 4 hog health at 415 (vs 360) probably meets some heal threshold to make them effective, whereas the 6 more hp to minions really don't do anything at all, just the dps, making lvl 3 hogs quite a lot worse than lvl 4 hogs, probably, and lvl 4 minions just look less slick, and do less dps. I would do hogs. I did minions to 5 and my hogs still lvl 1, but since you already did it half assed go with hogs? hehe Yeah, hogs. Final answer.

Do the minions get them to level 6 before you do more on the hogs.

hogs are nice for fighting TH 9... But with balloonians... You can also fight TH10 succesfully.

in addition minions are cheaper to produce and are great as part of BAM.

Save your DE for upgrading hero's ... High level hero's are more important than you think for hitting th10's.

My advice would be to upgrade in this order:

- minions 5
- hogs 4
- hogs 5
- minions 6
