Remove the "recommended target" in Clan Wars.

its pretty simple.... if you dont like it dont use it. tell your clan mates to ignore it and have them attack whereever.

(which will probably lose you the war. but hey,that's you're choice.)

you must know what is 'reccommended target' on CW is before start complaining.

Reccommended target in CW targets the lowest ranked base that have same TH level with yours that have not been at least 1-starred.

i'm not quite care bout this actually. But, you must keep communication to your clanmates to decide which was the best base to be attack by your clanmates with specified troops.

So, i'll not support you neither request to change it.

I'd rather them create a new title "war leader" that doesn't grant any additional power than a co leader other than THEY are able to move the recommended target around manually if desired or just opt to check it off. That let's those who like it as is to keep it. It let's those who don't t9 remove it. And the ability for others to bend it around to their strategy.

As much as we try to communicate a clan based strarely ... w only 100 recent chat entries, that info is quickly lost on war and the clan mail system isn't good enough to send frequent reassignment in mail.

Absolutely remove it. It does interfere with clan strategy because there is always (sometimes) the new guy who follows it.

But even so, the larger problem is that many players all have the same recommended target simultaneously. How dumb is that? So we all train an army composition appropriate for enemy #7, and then the first player who attacks it three-stars it. Now the recommended target changes for everyone and the next recommended target is best attacked by a completely different army. Dump your army and retrain? Or go against the new recommended target with the wrong army? Either way, because there is overlap it is inherently a flawed feature.

Just because it's useless, doesn't mean it needs to be removed.

Selecting your target base should be dependent on the army type you are going to bring and which of your troops are higher level.

Recommended Target selects the lowest level base of your TH level that has no stars yet. If all have been starred, it selects the lowest one with one star. This is a very simple, basic algorithm that has nothing to do with your potential army strength or the defenses of your target.

It's really just an arrow that says, "Here is a place you can attack to pick up stars for your clan!"
