So how does raiding work with clan castles? Is the war loot over and above the current caps on storages? What percent can people steal from my clan castle? I can't find this info on the wiki, or the recent announcement that resources are now 'safer'.

My parents always told me to be wise with my money, but how can I without knowing this important detail? I'll post here if I figure it out... In the meantime if anyone else has a clue please let me know :)
I would keep it in the clan castle if you have so much gold in your storages. This would make it harder for people to steal all the gold because they have to break more buildings. Plus I think the loot in the clan castle is safer percentage wise.
I'm not sure of the answer but since the CC % is less than storages (10 vs 20) it would not surprise me if raiding the CC is not included in the cap (which would mean with your big gold in storages it would be safer in the storages since they can only take so much from each storage). IMO only.
Keep it in your clan castle. Dumping it in your storages will allow the opponent to steal more of your loot, considering only a small amount can be stolen from the clan castle.Quote:

I did a test last night and there is no cap on your clan castle loot. I had 900,000 gold in my CC, nearly empty collectors and the available loot to my attacker was 405,000. The attack came within 30 minutes of me logging off after having collected from all my collectors, so here's the formula:
CC resource * 10% * (12%/20%) is how much they can get from you war loot.
The 12% is the % available to be stolen based on my TH level (9) and the 20% is the baseline and this is separate from the cap just like raiding from collectors has no cap.
It goes over the cap. Pretty sure, I have full storages pretty often. I'd collect if you're at the cap already anyway ;)
