I know there are already many great TH8 layouts available, but I'm sure many of you enjoy creating your own designs and I figured I'd mess around with one while my TH level 7 is still upgrading.
Here's a layout I was considering using for farming, any input on this design?

Looks alright, but I dont like the wiz tower placement and bottom 2 storage placements either. Ive never used a base like that, so try it out and see how it works!
I don't like your teslas being that far "out of the game" at the top. Plus, since they are hidden I don't see the point of them being trapped... I don't see people attacking from the top, so I don't see those traps going off, especially since giants/riders won't "see" the traps to path to them until they are already on the inside. Maybe put them where your DBs are right outside of your AD's? (the traps and the teslas)
also, a few goblins can lure out your CC troops. Not a whole lot you can do about that really.

not really, looks good against giant/healer. It will get smashed by hogs... again not much you can do about that till TH9

That was the thought... but with that setup you will have a 1x1 spawn point where those teslas are. might need to move around those builders huts to fill that in somehow
I'm thinking the tesla's pushed inside that wall pocket instead may work better and remove that spawn point. Will also create the better wall junction then you have right now.Quote:

One more note now that I see it with the teslas. Push the wall that is angled on the archer tower underneath them out one so it forms the straight line. A wb to the side will hit that corner and bust into both compartments, pushing the wall out one by the archer tower should prevent that. WB will go for the at and cannon compartments then before going for the tesla one.

You just upgraded to th8 and already have all lvl 8 walls in mind! lol jk It looks good my advice since you are not sure on traps placement just make sure they fall on the likely path that giants or hogs will take through your base. It won't stop a high level attacker but it can slow them down until you get to th9 lol.Quote:

I don't like the wiz mortar being in the same triangle. An opposing triangle setup would work better on coverage. Maybe put a wiz where de is and other two where storages are at. Just my opinion though.
