I am almost maxed TH8 except for air defense and teslas and walls. My current level is 75. I see many TH8 with much higher level than me with about the same level of defenses. My current donations are 16k. Any help?

There is no "ok" donations per week... You need to see how much experience you want in how much time, and see how many donations you need per day to reach your goal. It is not up to us to tell you; you set your own goals.
Donations are the #1 fastest way to inflate your experience level. I donate about 5000 a season right now....how about you? 16K donates is fairly low but your level doesn't matter at all. I recommend finishing you Friend in Need because lots of clans look at it:p
Im level 78 premmie defenses and 28k fin so donate 12 more and u will prob be about level 80

As others have said, donating & upgrading faster will lvl you up....but i feel compelled to say level is meaningless and good clans will focus on your base, troops & profile stats NOT your level, so your efforts would be better spent improving those instead.
