You can never think about maxing walls in TH9. So max it in Th8. I am currently maxing walls in TH8 and just 20 away.

Definitely max your walls, I thought you would have been doing that already since you're in the centum group ;)
Take advantage of the loot at TH8. Their is a lot of expensive upgrades at TH9.
Max out everything before you upgrade... TH8 is one of the most enjoyable levels and it's easy to max everything... It's one of the stages where CoC makes the most fun... After all is maxed make sure that all your storages are completely full when arriving at th9... Have some patience, you'll be soon enough th9 and caught in the trap of endless grinding...

Fill your storages and go for it. Th9 is a blast with the extra troops, spells, AQ
TH9 is the new TH8... do it my friend... but be prepared to stay TH9 for quite a while... its where walls grow :rolleyes:
I just hit the upgrade button on one of my accounts last night, but I didn't on the other. All my splash, cannons, air, teslas will be maxed before I hit th9. The walls will be close, as I just realized I will not be wall farming the last two days or so to get max resources when I enter th9 with five ready builders.
I planned on doing my other account as well, but I got behind on walls on that one and so I want to do a bit more before I upgrade.
I was thinking about doing an experiment to see which one would do better at th9. Maxing one and going slightly pre-max on the other.
But as I woke this morning, I thought that was not worth the wait. Sure I could max all my dark troops and get pekka 3 done, but why wait on the lvl6 giants and loons? It doesn't make since to wait on those and upgrade valks and golems now......

But seriously try to max everything defensive wise. It'll be worth it in the end ;)
If you message me i can explain why sometimes it is a waste to max everything. I rushed my townhall but yet im more advanced than others that have been playing a lot longer than me
