I'm thinking going to th9, with a th8 base nearly maxed, all cannons maxed, all AT lv 9, 2/3 maxed air defenses, all lv 7 walls 10 lv 8, maxed mortars and I'm maxing my WT atm. Do you think I'm ready?

Obviously it is up to you but I would seriously consider maxing your teslas!

You will need every defense against hogs.
Take your time.
In my opinion if you have 200 army space and lvl 5 barbs and archers then id just go. I went to th9 with lvl 7 walls and max th7 defenses(max th8 splash and cc)

Agree with the previous poster about maxing teslas. Don't worry about the walls. Lightening spells and Hoggies have changed the game. My level 8 walls are the highest I am going in the game, in my view - no point in upgrading these any higher.
Max your splash damage defences. The first few weeks are tough, level 6 troops will walk through your base at will.
You will go from the penthouse to the outhouse. But, that's the game right?
Not everything needs to be maxed, just remember - it's harder to catch up on TH 9 with the loot penalty.

I clicked upgrade when I had max splash, max walls, max BK, 2/3 max air, but the other def was one step down from max...I have no regrets going to TH9. This was almost four weeks ago and already have a few legos, x-bow lvl1 (upgrading to lvl2) and lvl2, Queen lvl8. The new troops (lvl6 barbs and giants) are a huge boost.
As an active player I would go for it!
Edit: those people saying you will be hogged etc, well I guess it depends on the trophy range you are in. Been hogged once for a 60% loss. Farming around 1600.
Edit 2: Teslas were lvl3 & lvl4
Thinking the same thing here... I all the buildings maxed (or being upgraded atm) but my walls are all lvl7. Probably wont have the patience for the walls ;-)Quote:
