I have a friend who deliberately left a level 1 structure of each kind. They are ugly and weak, but they are something that you can never get back. Now that I hope I've left at least a level 1 wall as souvenir.

That is a pretty lame thing to do because lvl 1 structures are weak, ugly, and lame. It would be like trying to beat a charizard with a charmander it just not happening.
