TH8 Trophy Push to Crystal League

I'm currently th9 but when I was th8 i made it to crystal 2. I used the barch raid ( barbs and archers) to take outside buildings till 2000 trophies. Then I started using hogs and gowipes. Gl bro :)

Yeah, but i can't seem to find bases where th is on the outside. I'm talking in general now, after clan wars came out, everyone seems to have changed to defensive bases and is making it harder for me.

@RYP: I'm not sure the benefits of crystal league. But the 250 gems from achievements and you get a hoard of DE at that trophy range.

As a th7 I managed to BAM my way to 2602 trophies... Basically just look for bases you can be sure to get atleast 50 percent, and also remember patience is the key... as you get higher your search times get longer... I once searched for 50 minutes to find the right base... The biggest advice I can give you is sit down and watch tv while you search so you won't get irritated mate... Good luck

I would like to ask OP, do you plan to stay there or just want to do the achievement?

hmm thanks for the advice :) but im at the 1600 range and theres a few th7 that i can easily 1 star. But will have to start searching heavily after 1800 trophies

I haven't decided that yet. But right now, I intend on finishing off that achievement. If i like that trophy range, maybe I'll plan on staying.

Hmmm to be honest I think the only time search times started to get long for me was at about 2400 so Crystal 1... with level 5 troops you should be able to roll over most th7 and below easily... perhaps use giant healer if you aren't to confident or use Barch for quick army... BAM is only extremely necessary after crystal 3 as having those minions help you reach further into the base

I was using the giant-healer combo until now. Using the BAM strategy now. The giant healer strategy was taking too long to train. I like to keep raiding often now that I'm in holidays.

I will add the pro's and cons of the two strategies in the OP thread.

Warning to all people trying this, only attack if you are entirely sure you can get atleast 1 star. Losing a battle will force you to attack more to regain the lost trophies. And, even if you find a base where the loot is high, I highly recommend you to keep moving and focusing on getting those trophies rather the loot.

Crystal is nothing.

I actually spent most of my th8 time in crystal.

DE is great there.
