Personal opinion is still encouraged.

The fact of the matter is that revenge is very rarely used, likely due to the huge amount of revenges that either have a shield or are online. Revenge (Despite its stupidly obvious advantages) could use all of the positives that it can get, to encourage more players to use it.

NOTE: Mods do not get privileged to anything special- they're volunteers who offer their time to help make the forums free from trolls and spam. (I can sense the comment coming and urge you not to post it)

Nope..not dead. In fact I just revenged a TH10 who zapped my DE for more than what he stole.
I dont know what his CC troops are but I can see they are empty by checking on its capacity. You just need a CC killer that are ready against any kind of CC army. Competent attackers wipe them regardless of what they are, ie. always prepare more than what you expect, people who can't win a revenge without knowing what CC troops that is don't deserve to.

If revenging is dead, why is it still there lol

its pretty useful I save all the dudes whp attacked me when I had a lot of trophies. So when i drop trophies it will be a lot easier to climb back up. 42 trophies for one attack is pretty nice.

Having spent the last 3 months in Champs I can fully confirm Revenge is "Officially" dead!

I would love the ability to be notified when someone logs off or is available. I must have clicked Revenge about a couple of thousand times but it's either Shield, Online or Under Attack.

I don't think I've Revenged anyone in 2014!

(I understand this is a different situation than the OP but for me it's RIP Revenge)

Lure CC troops, Zap DE,, steal it till 39%, trigger all the possible traps.. and leave it.... nice revenge....

Lol no it's not, It's just more of a surprise when you attack them.

I cant even remember the last time i tried to revenge... its always player has shield or player is online no matter when u try.

But on topic of being able to see cc troops or not, i think its fair. the attacker couldnt see your cc when they attacked you so this is only fair.
