Revenge died when they cut down the number of people on huge revenge list a good while back. Also for a th10 farmer like me, revenge most of the time is a waste. Not going to get much from th5-8s that commonly snipe my townhall in gold 1.
as for not being able to see the clan castle troops, yea that sucks, but at least you can see if they have clan troops and of their heros are awake. Still an advantage...

I don't think it's dead, but, whether it is or not doesn't matter to me. I rarely ever revenge anyway.
Slightly off topic: A clan mate from a former clan ONLY revenged. He never attacks normally unless there aren't any good revenges left. I still seriously doubt the logic in it, but hey it works for him.
Revenge has one purpose and one purpose only: To pound that snot nosed SOB who lightning'd my storages into the ground then pee on the ashes.
Revenge is never useful.
I like the added mystery of the hidden CC, it always keeps you on your toes. It's not dying, rather just coming alive.

We got used to have to read lots of complain threads when SC makes a tiny change in the game, because some people don't accept changes very well, proving their lack of experience and attacking skills.
Nerf hog riders, clan wars killed farming, healer+giant are OP, and now "I can't revenge because I don't see CC troops, even when I'm still able to lure them".
I'm sure you as a mod, you have access to information, statics that show that the use of revenge is pretty much the same. That's why you said this.Quote:

well revenge has pretty much always been dead to me. Having to find a window of opportunity between them having a shield or being online makes it far too time consuming for me. Even if I did find that window of opportunity, then I have to consider if they have enough loot for me to even consider attacking.....yes revenge has been dead to me for a long time...
