Revenge is now officially dead

I believe that the wrong decision was made. The decision that killed revenging for good. This was the decision to hide what troops are in the clan castle when visiting. While fine for clan wars, I believe that this has killed one of the only positives about revenge attacking.

If you revenge, how has this change affected how you revenge or if you are even inclined to any more?

My personal opinion is that the decision to hide clan castle troops when visiting killed any popularity that revenge attacks may have had.

Revenge is meant to be a get back, for a free tree star.

But one of the positives of revenge attack was being able to plan your attack based on what troops they have in their clan castle. I feel that one of the only advantages to revenge attacking has been lost, and that it has made revenge even less popular.

Bit of an overreaction. You can just lure and kill the CC no matter what they have anyway...

Agree with this... although I find it hilarious you click on their barracks and it won't show their troops even though you can just see them on the screen anyways :)

I know- lol

I just feel that revenge should be given all of the pluses that it needs. I can see why this is good in clan wars, but I feel that it only helps to make revenge less and less popular of a choice for actual attacking.

Revenge is not "officially" dead, in fact it's still very much alive. Not sure where you got this idea.

I haven't revenged in WEEKS, but I'm still farming a bunch of gold. IDRC if its 'officially" dead. I never used it in the first place
