What happens to the gold used in the cost of a battle? Shouldn't that gold to the base when passed on? If you have a great base and people pass on your village, the gold should go to the owner versus into thin air. It's not like its an additional cost to the attackers.
I like this idea a lot but you should have a storage where you can collect the skipped gold. But I'd like the storage to only hold certain amounts and all the gold inside the collector can be taken. Th loot penalty of course though.
