I believe that nobody "wouldn't" like this feature, because it doesn't effect you in anyway if you don't use it, it could just be a checkmark box in settings. That would be very simple (I think) for SC to implement, however a feature that created a whole new "parental controls" type of feature could get very complex. From SC's standpoint, we have to think, how much time, and now many resources would it require to create this feature, and how much money would our company generate because of that feature. Unfortunately for parents who care to be slightly more "protective" then other parents, SC would not generate very much income from a parental control feature. Think about it, you yourself allow your son to play even though there is public chat. SC would have to figure out how many people DON'T play the game BECAUSE of public chat, and out of those people how many would buy in-app items and then they would probably judge that from a business stand point it wouldn't be worth if for them.
