Unfair advantage for some dishonest people

The simple solution would be to make the attack count once Attack is hit. Obviously the idea behind being able to cancel the attack is if you want to back out of the attack for a legit reason but making the Attack button final once it is pressed would be an easy fix for the ghosting issue. If they disconnect using Airplane mode after the attack button is hit it's a loss. The only downside is for the honest players that hit attack and want to cancel for some reason. I don't think there's any way they can fix the issue without having some kind of repercussion on the honest players though...

Yes, "ghosting" is a way to play clan wars. Get into your bed, put a white sheet over your head, and play on your device! Congrats, you are now "ghosting."

un serious replies. So, ghosting is STRICTly ♥♥♥♥♥ ing. It is not actually "h*ack ing" per say, but you use 3rd party software to ghost attack someone. Like you can attack them but the attack doesn't actually count.

Its a shame that the majority of clans do this in the war. I just found out about this ghosting and realize that all of the wars that we had each clan ghosted on us out of 8 wars we have only won one war. No point in stooping down to their level. It has gotten bad no point in doing war if ghosting is allowed. Please fix this

How about having a cancel button, which, if not pressed, the attack counts, regardless if troops are deployed? APM D/C would not be able to attack it without it counting, because if they hit the cancel button, they get removed from the attack, and if they don't, it acts as if the attack happened without any troops dropped.

If this would ork this is probably the best solution. Since thy ade still connected canthe game register that people clcik attack? If so this sounds simple yet effective.

I haven't been keeping up with all the updates and suggestions with this issue, but I think there is a very simple solution. It will not prevent ghosting for revenges, but it will fix it 100% for wars without harming the game at all. Simply set up clan wars attacks so that if you press the attack button, it counts for an attack unless you hit the cancel button. If you do not hit the cancel button, then it counts for your attack. It will completely eliminate the ♥♥♥♥♥ing that has been going on.

Thankfully most clans we have gone to war against have only had a few ghosters, but we did face one clan (in the closest war we've had so far) that ghosted the entire time. We had one member tracking how many times we were being ghosted for as long as he could. There was one guy from their clan who would attack me about every 3-4 minutes for almost two hours before he finally attacked and got 0 stars lol. It just kept happening the entire war and was extremely frustrating, especially when our alliance has taken a stand that we will not tolerate people ♥♥♥♥♥ing.

We (Black&Blue) are currently in a war with Paper Moon. Their players are ghost attacking 6 or 7 times each of our bases until they get at least two stars. Please tell me what is the point of Clan Wars when people can play in this way. They should be banned in the same way that people can can reported and blocked on global chat.

I reported the clan that was ghosting us like crazy and got a reply from SC. They discourage the behavior and appreciate some clans standing against it, but they said they can't and won't punish people for doing it yet. They are working on a fix for it though. It's really frustrating, but the best thing to do is just beat them by having more skill. We have a member that speaks chinese and went onto their clan forums where they were ghosting us and posting pictures of where the traps were for every one of our bases. They had legit threads discussing how to best attack us, avoid our traps, best places to lure, etc. Thankfully we still beat them. Then they posted a bunch of insults in their clan description about us lol...

Call me crazy but a practice match button would solve all of this ♥♥♥♥. No unfair advantage when everyone can do it...
