when my girlfriend was sawing down the trees this idea struck both of us: the trees are useless when they stop producing fruits and stuff, and this is quite wasteful.
so why not introduce 'wood' as a new resource that can be used to make decorations, furnitures, etc.? and a new building to go with it, like a studio or something. this way the new resource wouldn't mess up the existing building process and there would be more that players can do.
I agree, I think this is an excellent idea, let's get a sawmill n then a carpenters/wood shop to create some new decorative items for our glorious farms ;)

We could also make glass and pottery (using the sand from town). The beach/lake could also be a source of shells and starfishes.Quote:

On top of that can we do something with these hop hop frogs, like give us a frog trap n we can make frog soup or something? Not that I would eat it but it does put those hoppy things to use.

Still too, the frogs drive me crazy, if we can't make soup out of them how about a work camp for them or something. Use nets as another tool we can find or buy (both please), let us round em up and at least dump them back in the river or something. :rolleyes:
