What do I do??

TH level 9 and I'm at 1050 trophies. I'm desperate for loot but know when I smash and grab with cheap armies I will lose, resulting in dropping trophies and being further away from fellow TH 9 villages without the huge loot penalties.

I can try to gain trophies by bigger armies, but I then run out of E after 1 raid.

Not sure how a game can punish someone so gravely without a huge disclaimer.

But out anyways, not here to gripe, just know there are other who have been in my shoes and wanting some insight.

bTW. I'm trying to get to 2.25 mil in E to research troops and feels like I'm running in circles.

If you need 2.25 m elixir for upgrade, it seems you're premature town hall 9.

I suggest you make your way at least to 1100-1300 trophy range (silver 1) and emphasize your raid for elixir against people with town hall 7-8.

For your troops, get a combinations of giants/wallbreakers/barbarians/archers. That should cost like, 80 k elixir at maximum, so you want to target villages with more than 100 k elixir for profit.

Get up trophies by doing easy 50% (Using BARCH) And free town halls from farmers, get to atleast 1400-1500 trophies and start farming.
Keep clicking next until you find 200k raids or profitable.
Also, if you ever see a town hall out out of the base, take it. It helps stay at the required trophy range!

If you rushed that much, then you deserve to burn from your mistakes and let us steal your hard earned gold.

try and watch afew raiding tutorials on youtube and aim for 200k net loot per raid.
