We are a farming clan made up of clash friends and experienced leaders who have now been united for almost a year. We bring together people who enjoy an active chat and farming in a friendly, fun and mature environment. We range in age from 20's, to 30's, to prefer not to mention. We have all makes and sizes of families, but we enjoy clashing together. And we invite you to become a part of this clash family!

Rules

• Participate in chat. The main point of the clan!
• Donate 400+/season
• Minimum 1:2 donation-to-request ratio. But once you meet 400 donation min, we ignore ratio. Go nutz!
• ALWAYS read requests and donate what is asked.
• No cursing. Sure we all do it in real life, and it can be fun. But we do not do it in chat in this clan. There are so many other words to use anyway!
• Respect others.
• No drama. Anyone who has played this game in a clan knows what I mean.
• Have fun!

Clan Wars

• Held weekly. We prefer this to every other day. Gives us time to farm and do other things.
• We help you get better at it too. We just ask you to use your attacks.

WarHaven Base Design for Clan Wars – TH 8 and TH 9
Effective defense is the best and easiest way to improve the clan’s odds at winning.

3 BASIC PRINCIPLES
1. Adopt a three-ring design now: Ringus Rocks!
For TH8 and TH9, the most effective defense is a three-ring design, also known as ringus.

• The first ring, the core, has your best ranged-defense (for example, Xbow for th9 and mortar for TH8), heroes and CC guarding your TH. Also, your CC, not the TH, should be as close to middle of the core as possible to make pulling CC troops difficult.
• The middle ring has all non-defensive towers (storages, collectors, barracks, etc.), forcing hogs and giants to circle the outside away from the core.
• And the outer ring has most of the defensive towers with traps and bombs placed directly (don’t leave spaces or wall pieces in between traps, bombs and towers) between them, forcing the giants and hogs to stop on top of them and activate them early in the attack.

2. Don’t spread air defense too thin and become easy prey for loonions or dragons
Three rings can cause air defense to be pushed too far to the perimeter too often. This encourages dragon and loonion attacks. Put a couple air d in the core at least. And keep most of your air mines in the core too, near the TH. If the TH stays up, you only lose one star. Finally, don’t forget to upgrade air d. It works.

3. Double up your big bombs!!!
Wherever you can, you must have double big bombs (one in the case of TH8; two for th9). There is no excuse not to do this. Double bigs will kill hogs instantly, often even when heal is down, and damage other troops substantially. Ideally, you will create some dummy areas that have no big bombs, making it difficult on the attacker to know how to plan attack.


SAMPLE BASE DESIGNS
There are endless ways to accomplish a three-ring design. Below are posts are examples of designs. You will notice some use a "moat" (blank space) in place of non-defensive towers for the middle ring. This is also effective.
