Hello Clanners! I am at XP level 53 with 1300 trophies, in the silver1 league, and a TH of 8. Why is it fair for someone with a 90 XP level, 1400 trophies, TH level 9, Gold League, etc., to destroy my village? We all know how long it takes to build defenses, collect gold/elixir for upgrades, etc. Can someone please explain this to me and excuse my naïveté. I am new to the forums! Thank you!!
Because raiding is based on trophies, not xp or whatever. They get a 10% loot reduction as they are one TH level above you, but people will still raid you. If you find people to be too good in that trophy range, then just drop down some.
Because the game works this way, and because you are a premmie.
Farm and improve your defences and you will be fine.
It's completely fair. First of all, you shouldn't be a TH8 and only lvl 53, so don't upgrade your town hall anymore. As you are a TH8 with I'm guessing a pretty bad defense, or low lvl defenses, it will be very easy to steal your loot and you become a big target. Just don't upgrade your town hall. If you're losing more than you can make, lower your trophy count. Put your town hall outside so people can give you a free shield and leave. This won't always happens, but it works well! And even they took the time to build defenses and level up their base, and if they didn't, they're going through the same problem as you. I used to be a premmie TH7 and kept getting like 180K gold stolen each defense, and when I put my TH outside, and started upgrading my defense well, that stopped. Matchmaking is based just on trophies (player vs player not clan vs clan). If you think this is unfair, I think it'd be unfair for a TH3 to easily get to champion league, while a TH9 works hard battling other TH9s to get there.

upgrade to th9 to deter potential attackers
stay th 8 and keep upgradeing defenses
th9 gets better props
I think that's why I keep getting my butt kicked because I didn't upgrade everything before I moved up to TH8!Quote:
