Hello forumites! In this thread, I will be telling you all you need to know about Forum Elite, what/who it involves, what it is and more! So please, sit back, put the kettle on and take 5 minutes out of your busy schedules to read through this post, to make sure you understand everything about this great forum event.
So some if you may know me and others may not. I may not have even close to the best post count here but I assure you I'm quite active on these forums and do my best to help other people in game and out of game. So recently I know that Ryan has decided to retire from clash and I thought that it would be a great idea to continue on the heritage of forum elite. This is the 3rd Forum Elite event and we expect it to go as planned!!This thread will be made far ahead of time so we don't create confusion and so it runs smoothly. I've also used Ryan's thread for FE2 as a template on this as he did an excellent job!
What is Forum Elite?
Put simply, Forum Elite is a week long trophy push event organised and participated by members of the Clash of Clans Forum. The main goal is to earn as many trophies as we can and the main aim is to have as much fun as possible while doing it. We want you guys to smash some records, make some friends, and show those trophy hunters out there that the forum farmers mean business!

Who can participate?
Us! The forumers! Whatever age or level, put your name down to join in the fun! Who knows, maybe you'll even get to play with the big boys and witness some crazy high level gameplay!
Who is in charge?
Essentially there are no specific people in charge of the event but a number of active forum members work together behind the scenes to try and ensure all details are worked out and it's as smooth and enjoyable for everyone as possible. Forum Elite III is being looked after by Nickroge, Adamantan, AllyBug, and a few other very helpful volunteers.
How many clans will there be?
Well, after a discussion, we came to the conclusion that there will be a max of 3 clans depending on the #'s we get for signups. We will also have 20-30 alternates and they will be brought in if anyone decides to not participate. We will leave the signups open for a week and then the top 100 players will be selected.
How are players selected?
Players will be placed into clans dependant on their trophy record. But this doesn't really mean anything. This is just an easier way to do it, as high level players need those CC troops, they are critical for offence and defence up there. At the end of each 24 hour period, players from all clans will be promoted/demoted. So, say someone in the first clan had 2500 cups, and someone in the second had 3000, the guy with 2500 would get demoted so to speak, and the guy with 3000, promoted, vis versa in all clans, that way we can end with the best possible result.
Who will lead the clans?
The first clan will by led by Adamantan himself. As this is a community event, we want everyone to mingle together and have the best experience possible.The other clans leaders are yet to be decided, and will be chosen by the Forum Elite Staff, of course it would be easy to make a poll and have the 4 most popular lead, but it's not as easy as that, those four candidates could all be capable of 3200 and beyond and therefore want to be in the first clan. So it will take a bit of time, but once we have made a decision we'll be sure to let you know who your leader is!
What do I do during the event?
Once you have arrived in your designated clan, please sit tight for at least the first day, so that the leaders can tick everyone off. After that you will be free to visit other clans, but not 'hop', as this just makes everyone's lives a living hell. Maybe go once a day if you really need to, but always make sure to ask permission in advance. If your leader asks you to move clans, please do so, as we want to keep drama to a minimum during this event.
I can't play the whole week but can I come and donate? / Visiting
Absolutely! We will try to leave space in each of the clans for people to just drop in and donate troops. Come whenever you can and donate whatever troops people ask for. This will also enable players to save their precious Elixir for building their own troops :-)
Visitors are always welcome! If you can't participate for any reason, feel free to drop by any of the clans when there is a space, we love company, but make sure to bring some goodies!
