Seasons for Clan wars

Ever since Clan wars has came out, nearly everybody is focused on clan wars and barely anybody goes on multiplayer battles. I myself previously, before clan wars, was a farmer and after the first clan war, I was planning to go back to farming. However as soon as it had finished almost immediately we a part of another clan war. This leaves me permanently having to waste a whole lot of resources in training my strongest troops, which the war loot cannot make up for. So instead of clans being able to opt in/opt out of clan wars (which renders clan wars pointless because then everybody could stop clan wars) I ask for clan wars to be in seasons. We should have 1 possibly two months of clan wars being disabled, allowing people to gain trophies/resources and then have possibly a few weeks of clan wars being enabled.
