Disconnect in battles!!

I'm on wifi with full bars connection but for some reason at random fights I finish the battles and win I press the next button down the bottom but nothing happens. I keep pressing it until a few moments later it says connection dropout and I lose over 36 trophies every time! This happened multiple times on the weekend and I lost a couple of hundred cups! ♥♥♥?! I thought you said you fixed dropouts from battles but it happened to me all weekend! I wouldn't mind so much if I didn't lose all my cups, and when i come back to my village half the troops are missing so it's like i'm battling and then the bloody game decides to die halfway through!!

Is this happening for anyone else? My internet is solid so i'm not sure what the problem is???

I'm sure there are countless other threads with this in, and I can't find the ones I've contributed in before about it, but hey.. it's the same topic...

This is not just a multiplayer thing. I have experienced it this morning in single player.

Also...I was under the impression that the mechanics were changed so that if the connection was lost, it didn't treat it as a 'end battle', and that the troops that had been deployed carried on fighting.

This was not the case, as I attempted 'Cold as Ice' today, using 16lvl 3 balloons. 8 on 1 air defence, 8 on the other.

I won easily, having at least ½ a dozen of them left over, destroying everything...100%.

However, I couldn't 'return home' for 30 seconds before it said 'connection lost'.

When I logged back in, I could tell that my resources had not increased by 250k each, and so I looked at the number of balloons I had...I had 16 less than I had before the battle. So it recognised all the troops that I had deployed. However, when I looked at the mission again, there was 208k resources available.
This is even more annoying, because when I watched the battle, my balloons killed all the defence without taking a single resource, so it gave up the ghost sometime after it had started attacking the storages.

Please can you differentiate between an end battle and a d/c?

I experienced it too but I think many people experienced this problem. This game is very popular so many players are playing this game. The game is development so I think we just have to wait for some bug/connection fixes.

I just lost over 40 Trophies and all the elixir I stole did not register...Very disappointed because I had already destroyed his TH before the game crashed.

Please fix this.

Suggestion. If the game detects a disconnect before the end of a fight the fight is put into suspend at last known good state. Then the attacker either goes back to the fight immediately when the game reconnects (ie they chose to go back to fight or to load village...if they load village they forfeit the fight at the last known good state which may mean they lose. In my case, the sync must have happened before i deployed many troops because the forces I actually deployed ended up smashing his Town Hall and taking most of his elixir.

This will stop people disconnecting in order to avoid heavy defeats but it will also protect genuine players who get shafted when the game disconnects.

Losing 40+ trophies is no joke...it takes a long time to win them back!!!!!!!

Good ideas there. At least give us the chance to go back and finish the battle if it disconnects...

This is not fixed. It's 2014 now 2 years later and it still keeps happening. This has happened to me multiple times, just today it happened 3 times in a row. Just now I attacked someone and got 250k of gold and elixir. Battle ended but the game would not return back to my town. After a manual quit I look at my attack log and it says I wasted half of my troops but got 0 of the resources. Seriously ♥♥♥?!?!

The last time it happened I had the game open waiting for my troops to finish training when all of a sudden I get a popup telling me the game disconnected. I click OK and guess what? I was attacked! How is this even possible? Between my last action and the popup appearing it took less than 3 minutes.

How about you just tell the user his been disconnected at the time when it actually disconnects. Not 5 min later. If I had any idea I was disconnected I would have stop deploying troops. Or the last scenario I would have clicked OK and NOT been attacked.
