Yes. In my clan, Phoenix Slayers, our current clan wars opponent has spied on us.:rolleyes:

I've always wondered, whenever we get grouped with another clan to spar against, we'd get a flux of invites. Made me wonder if they're trying to plant moles. But really, what can they learn? How could it be advantageous? Maybe to see what we're donating? Not that big a deal. They're gonna find out sooner or later. Our strategies are no Brainers. Let the lower players take what they can then our higher level players mop up. Not that crazy to call for spies, imo.
A mole could get in and donate a lot of goblins.
We were thinking about doing this to other clans but whatever its a good idea.

My clan learnt the hardway _ originaly thought that perhaps we'd been cheeted against, as they seemed to know trap/tesla layouts, etc.... then the spie posted a goodbye message on leaving........ lesson learnt ;)

You are right on the age. There is also a new thread on this topic going around. What I think happened is that this one got tangled in and guys thought they were replaying to the new one. I don't think these guys are purposely bumping old threads.Quote:

Happened to us once. I complained about it on here, but thread got heavily edited because I used names and bad language. :)
We really just want to protect from new members having the ability to spy. So let's have it so new members can't see the bomb placements. If I make you elder in the clan, u are a trusted member and I have no problems with you seeing my whole base. But if I let you in the clan 5 mins ago, why do you get to see my whole war base? Let's fix that!
