Maybe there will be some edit to the event story that the mayor found there were ample cakes and a prize will be given after all. Just a thought...a wishful thought! Lol.
Too bad we didn't reach it. But sure hope there's a chance to buy it soon!

I stopped once I saw only vouchers. Did not want anymore of those. I rarely buy decorations have my horses and dogs. And don't like fishing.....so don't care for vouchers. Plus they wanted too many cakes in the spans between numbers.
Would be nice if they would ACTUALLY start the holiday events, the previous week(s) .As much as I wanted the easter basket (which I kept filling and was way full, with cakes) it's too late, I wouldn't have used it till next year! Plus, c'mon mods, it's a holiday, I spend those days with my family and friends.. Not to fill some late prize that should have come out weeks previous!
In the future think about that.... I love playing hayday, and met my quota, but I do have a fAmily life!
just my 2 cents
hope everyone had a good holiday, :)
Again, we could have reached it, if it didn't come out so late! I'll be nuts if I'm gonna spend my holiday time playing a game- I gave over a 100+ cakes- I spend way to much cash on this game- so, let them waste their time making cute baskets that they won't give out- again my 2 cents
I'm just saying i have an eight year old sister who plays this game..this was the first global event she could participate in and she spent all weekend making carrot cakes for that Easter basket. She was so upset she was almost crying and has decided that she doesn't want to play hay day anymore. Any game that would disappoint a child so much is a disgrace. I'm sorry i love this game but seeing how sad she was made me angry. I thought that maybe if we didn't reach the unachievable goal they would still give us the prize 'in the spirit of easter' or whatever. Anyway its made me think twice about spending time and money on this game. Any game that would disappoint their fans some of whom are children don't deserve my time or money. Its their fault we didn't reach the goal it was far too high and it was a holiday weekend. They shouldn't set unrealistic goals like that.
She is an eight year old child who worked hard to be rewarded. Saying that its not reasonable for a child to be disappointed is ridiculous. Of course shes going to be disappointed. I know its an imaginary Easter basket but to an eight year old its more that that. It is definitely and completely the games fault for setting unreachable goals.
Hi Quingernut, I understand how you feel & that your younger sister was upset on not winning her Easter basket.
I've been there myself with my son & him putting his Snow Globe in the trash can accidentally ( thank goodness that's been taken out of the game ) , boy did we have some tears.
What we have to realise( and also teach our young ) is that although this is just a game ,some of the principles are the same as in RL... We don't win every time
There was a goal to be reached with a prize at the end of it, unfortunately we didn't reach that goal, but what we did receive along the way were vouchers. My children were more excited about getting their vouchers than actually winning the basket. And my son was over the moon when he won enough green vouchers to buy his first rabbit.
If you haven't already , you should explain to your little sister what she can buy with the vouchers she has won.
Oh & do as I did ... Go out & buy her a real life Easter basket ( they'll be 1/2 price today ) she'll love that far more.
I loved this global even , although we didn't reach our target it was great that we received vouchers instead of saws ,axes ect. Thanks SC for listening to us.
Oh and a big THANK YOU to d2 for helping Aaron achieve his last goal .... His bunny is very happy in his new home
