Should i update my TH to level 7? or still too soon?

I would wait until max town hall 6....Including all walls and troops. :)

I would say too soon, max defence and farming troops, along with camps, storages and get at least full level five walls

I have always upgraded my Town Hall when my walls are about to be maxed out. This way I can always dump my gold and never get attacked.

Your walls and your lab aren't about to get idle very soon, so I would suggest staying a little bit longer.

But there aren't any loot penalties yet and TH7 is as easy going as TH6 so no shame in upgrading, I think.

There is no 'to soon' for a TH7. Just do it. You get 50 troops more which helps immensely when farming.

Make sure you max out most stuff before going to TH8, though.

You should wait until your camps and lab upgrades are done in my opinion. By that time enough of your defensive upgrades and walls will be good to go.

TH7 is where the game actually start..
there is no harm... I upgraded to TH7 with Lv.1/2 mortars/WT and It's fine :)

Rush it. Rushing a TH below TH6 has very few drawbacks.
