Getting bored

I'm at level 44...have tons of coins and diamonds( yes I got sucked in and bought some when the discount chicken visited me). Anyway the only thing at the end of the tunnel in the candy machine...which I don't think I'm going to buy.
The only thing I really do is help( with the lovely 3 crate limit:mad:) my friends. But a lot of them still accept the the sugar & dairy boat,(Iwonder if they know you can cast it off instead)so I'm sorry to say I can't do a lot there.
I did read the about the new "update" let's hope the balance is better and yes the leader boards are dumb but I don't pay attention to them..soooooo back to my point...I's anyone else bored with the game...I think we need to production machines and new thing to make...or something??.

It's a cycle.

1. New machine introduced.
2. New machine acquired.
3. New machine used.
4. New machine loses luster.
5. Request for new machine because of boredom.
6. Return to step one

Patience.

I've just got level 45 and wondering what is going to keep my interest in the future so hoping some of the fantastic suggestions made by forum members are implemented i.e. fishing, bigger selection of fruit trees and crops resulting in more cooking/making options.

I'm still expanding my land to have a big re-arrange so for now I still have things to aim for and I'm in no hurry so I don't buy diamonds just need lots of patience...

I'm still in the early stages of the game and only just got my boat so I'm still interested, but I have played other games, Cityville, The Simpsons, Sims Free, Smurfs, and there is always a certain stage you get to where it does become boring. You've got everything where you want it, you've got loads of cash and suddenly the 'excitement' of the game isn't there any more. That's when I usually give up and find something new to play.

Supercell are always looking at the ideas section even if they don't always get responses for new updates.
I always try and have a few hundred thousands in the bank just incase.
Just play at your leisure and maybe try and update barns and silo for the boat orders and or for any future updates.
Sorry we can't give any specific insight as the mods only know once its in the works and then its announced here.
Many are finding most of the fun trading with each other and relaxed chatting on the forum in the main threads.
I personally feel that the forum is one of the main things that keep the game updated so keep the ideas coming :)

what is really killing the game is the leader board

then all things that came with it...

1)leader board
2) boat price to bring it back was raised
3) to "control" the leader board, a crate limit was applied

wrong moves by supercell

people used to spend more time playing trying to fill other peoples crates
now they dont have/cant do that anymore, therefore less time playing.

Since not being able to buy much through newspaper and not wanting to trade, it is getting boring

yep...i have hundreds of neighbors and rarely find a crate (besides sugar and dairy) to fill. My barn is filled with stuff i cannot rid other than selling to random players which is no fun. I think maybe us folks over a certain level don't spent money on diamonds and they are hoping we quit to make space for new players who will fall for the diamond purchases more often???

I'm at level 67 and I will admit it is getting a little boring. When I go to help boats all I find is a need for cream, sugars and syrups... Now the newspaper only sells bacon and eggs...I just saw a whole paper with only bacon and eggs advertised-even when I look inside the bacon and egg advertisement, they only have bacon and eggs in all their bins :(
