Amazing loot for th9

Hi guys, so the last two days i've been really active and i didn't have any builders free for 3 days, and i started with less than 100k gold 100k elix and around 3k dark elixir, after pumping some money into archer tower11, xbow2, wizz tower7...

I was around 1500 cups, and loot was absolutely terrible, then i went to 1700, and i have to say i was pleasantly surprised.

My army composition: 1 barack barbs, 2 baracks archers, 1 barrack giants, plus 5 minions and 2 hogs
that is around 60 bars, 90 arch, 10 giants, 5 minions and 2 hogs in total. (220 camp) i continuously cook heal spels

The thing is with this army composition, it is highly versatile, and takes about 15-20 mins to cook. i can easily take look from collector bases, using my giants as distractions, and archers to take it out.
Sometimes i find 280-300k gold on a th8 where the gold is all in the storages and it is safe to say if you use2 heal spells, with lvl 6 troops, you should always be able to take all of their money :D so i next for 4-5 minutes and i always find over 250k gold.

about dark elixir- I really have never seen so much dark elixir so easy to loot, sometimes i find 1k dark elixir sitting behind 1 wall. I think people have been holding back on upgrading heros because you can't use them in clan war battles. After 5mins if searching ill easily find a premmie th10 with 2k+ dark elixir :D


as it stand on defence i have has 350k/350k/2.8k avalible but often my th gets taken out... although i have been slammed for 450k/450k/3.5k when collectors were full :( (whoops left my th on inside)


sooooo.... all in all i've made 8m gold in 8m elixir and over 90k dark elix in less than 3 days...
i don't see what is wrong with loot

also i gained almost 1 mill after maintenance break.... like 3 ghost towns in a row :D

maxxed my storages... still another day before my next builder lol

i have 5 builders btw

What's your gold/hour rate?
I am not asking the highest. i am talking about gold/hour on an average.

around 400k/400k/4k

i go for 300k+ gold, free elix, that comes with it.
i go for around 1.5k dark or 700+ if it is free on the edges :)

but if i went for just gold im sure i could get 600k+

also i dont gem my barracks, i know some people get a much better rate like that :)

Well, that's not really a good farm rate.
But, i am not gonna say it's bad. Just not good if compared to the average.

You are happy with loot? Very good but Loot has been bad since update. difference is quite noticeable.

But everyone have their standards when it comes down to decide if loot is good or bad ;p

well remember i was focussed on dark elixir too, my gold rate goes down considerably.... if focussed on gold it would be alot higher, but if i went only for gold on day one, on day 2 i would already be maxed, so if i have to skip a 300k gold raid to find a 2k dark elix rate, i am happy to do so

also while writing my post i just got slammed for 566k gold 456k elixir and 2.6k dark :(

Loot has been reasonable, not great. I have farmed 5mil a day for the last few days, but it has been more work than usual. And as a th8 still, I don't have those lvl6 giants.....

Gold 2 has a lot of trophy bases with accessible storages...... I love Clan Wars!

I am a th9 and I have tried trophy range from 1500-2000, don't see as many juicy bases as before.

Before the update, I farm 10 millions a day with barrack boosts and now it has been halved.

Wow....I'm amazed at what people think is good loot nowadays. Before the December update 1.5 million per hour with no boosting was the standard. Now people are happy with 8 million in 3 days, or 10 million a day boosting........

SuperCell really has everyone drinking the boost kool aid.

If you raided enough to make 30k DE per day you should be at least making 10 million gold per day also. In 3 days of busting your a$$ to raid you didn't even make enough gold to do 3 lava walls.

How is that good loot?

I'm a TH9 with lvl 6 troops and using BAM and I farm everywhere from 1600-2000 depending on the day. It's kind of weird how the "loot" moves around. Some days it's awesome at 1700 and other days it's horrible there but awesome at 1900.
When it's not so great I concentrate on either winning or losing every attack so I'm going up or down between 1700 and 2000 and when I find a "sweet spot" I stay in that range for the day. If it gets a little slow then I push up or down to find the new sweet spot.

From a gold per hour standpoint, your build times are a little slow. Even if you hit 300k collector bases you're going to cap at 900k of gold/elixir and if you have a bad attack it really hurts.

I do BAM with 2 barracks continuous barb, 2 barracks continuous archers and build minions 15/15 as needed from the DB. My comp ends up being ~90 barbs, ~70 archers, 30 minions. I boost the spell factory and do all rage spells there.
total build time is a little over 14 minutes if I use everything, but then you subtract off the attack time of 2 or 3 minutes and you end up attacking approximately every 10-12 minutes as a worse case scenario with very little down time queing up barracks. Just top off each barracks right before every other attack.
However, when you hit collector bases, you may not even use half the troops so the next attack is almost immediate.

With 6-10 attacks per hour, you come out way ahead. I consider 1M gold per hour to be a minimum acceptable (non boosted) number and I'm always maxed on elixir with such a cheap army.

I boost every now and again and usually get between 3-4M gold per hour boosting. Just prior to CW going live SC changed something and there were a lot of 300G+ collector raids up at the 1900's and I did one 2 hour boost of all barracks and farmed almost 18M Gold in that time. It was by far the best I ever had. lol

Current GG at 722M and 95% of that was with BAM

8 mil in 3 days. thats the problem, ideally well lets rephrase that, before supercell changed the loot system, the average was 1 mil per hour, if u play all day thats 15 mil in a day, i u play more casually, maybe 5 mil a day, you farmed 2-3 mil per day

i am mainly talking to the people who say they can't find 200k bases anymore... i understand that loot isn't as easy to get, but for me, if loot was terrible, i wouldn't have been able to max my storages in 2 days...

ah, you're that guy... Just kidding, we frown upon giant donations in our clan. :)

I would recommend looking into BAM when your barracks finish upgrading. It's the best way I've found to make fast gold and elixir is always maxed because it's so cheap.

Nice loot but if someone could find a range besides Master+ where a TH10 could grab 1M per hour using BAM I would be a happy camper:p

lvl 6 giants are great donations when you're using them for attacks.

Would I rather have 25 archers that could die in one hit from a mortar or 5 giants? I'll take the giants.

When defending obviously it's totally different. Attacking though, giants are great for CC.

sooo i had been dark elixir farming.. and just took the gold that came with it, but if you are interested i just went looking for some gold, n see what i could find...

i did two hours in total, i made 2.4mill gold, so that works out to 1.2mill gold per hour, no boosting....

maybe not the 1.5mill standard you're looking for, but it is fine for me :)

just found 299k/287k after writing this...
