Regarding diamonds double tap confirmation

I encountered a problem which made me lose diamonds twice that kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ me off. When we click on an item to the machine for producing, if there is shortage of materials, it would show a message for requesting diamonds in order to proceed, I wrongly clicked the button which made me lost ELEVEN diamonds for 1 stupid cotton yesterday. Even though the setting is in "enabled diamonds double tap confirmation", but it doesn't apply to this situation.

The button is too large to miss, and the screen of the phone is sensitive. This is my second time, I wonder why there is double tap confirmation for quicker producing procedure with the SMALL button, but not with the BIG button which could be easily touched accidentally. So i strongly suggest to also apply this function on shortage of items when producing goods.

What type of phone do you play on and please post a screen shot. I'm interested to see how the popup looks on different phones.

Below is mine. Samsung Galaxy S4 with plenty of acreage to tap and not pay the price. The X as well as the sides of the screen will remove the popup without incurring an expense.

Great idea!!! The same thing has happened to me a couple of times! Diamonds are precious and I have lost some due to this feature.

my phone is Samsung note 3, the screen is big enough to show the whole pop up window, the "diamonds" button is too big to click, my other fingers (not the pointing finger) would easily touch it LIGHTLY then I lost my diamonds :mad:

It should be double tapped confirmed too, why this function not applied to this situation????

If you go to settings-adv settings- you can choose to check the double tap confirmation, its way at the bottom of the screen

Putting the double tap on this would be a triple confirmation. My goodness.

While you're waiting to see if your request is fulfilled, you may want to try using a stylus.

No, even with larger screen, the pop up window also got larger, the space is similar as yours, and there is no double tap in this situation, so why there is triple?? All along I was talking about there is no double tap function here even though your setting already enabled the funtion. My goodness!! I used the stylus before but it does not move as fast as fingers esp when you are hunting ads to buy rare stuffs, nevertheless I'm trying to adapt using the pen again now, hope no more lost from now on.

The pop up is the diamond confirmation for that action. Without the pop up, you would simply spend you diamonds when you tried to do the action, without any notification that you were about to do so, or even that you spent them. Adding the double tap to the pop up would essentially be asking you to confirm that you want to use diamonds twice, as opposed to just once. The double tap was added to the small speed up button because that was the main place where users were spending their diamonds unintentionally. Before the double tap, it was extremely easy to accidentally speed up an action, such as a single crop while planting and harvesting. While using the stylus will likely solve the problem, being careful will as well. Perhaps take an extra second to peruse the needed ingredients list to ensure you have everything before dragging the product to the production line, that way you will see which ingredients you still need without the pop up needing to be shown, and thus eliminating completely the chance to accidentally confirm using diamonds. When the pop up comes up perhaps slowing down enough to read it will help, as will training your finger, or stylus to head for the close button automatically. Being careful should hopefully solve your problem.

I'm sorry but to disagree with what you said. The pop up is indeed a notification only, double tap is for confirmation. The small speed up button with the diamond is a notification too, showing ppl it needs diamonds, when you clicked and asked you to click again, is a confirmation, click TWICE in order to proceed, so I suggest the pop up window also need to be clicked to TWICE to proceed as well, that's why the function is called "double tapped". The pop window just inform you diamonds needed to be spent. The speed up button already told you it needs diamonds, yet ppl still clicked on it, same case here, I also knew what the msg would say, yet I still accidentally clicked it, same case but why this pop up without double tapped.

Being careful of course essential, but accidents happened, traps here and there, screen sensitive is inevitable, it is not about others or I not reading the msg clearly, as we have been playing this game long enough to know what msg we will receive under different circumstances. The truth is I thought there were enough materials so I just drag it to proceed, then continue to slide the screen, but when it showed the zero number, I already started sliding the screen, before I knew the pop up window came up, so the sliding action accidentally clicked the pop up window button, as I said the button is long and big and it is impossible to miss.

If like you said this is our own responsibility only, and not the game problem, then the administrator wouldn't have invented the double tap function to prevent ppl from losing diamonds. They could have repeated your words and ignore ppl's complaints. They must have also noticed this is a trap and they should prevent it. What I'm trying to say is since the administrator already invented this function to solve the problem, I just suggest that they should develop this function to another situation as well.

I asked my friends and other members they also encountered this problem, so I think there still have room to develop this function more perfectly.

I'm not here to agrue or for you guys it would sound like I'm blaming the lack of function but not my clumsy fingers, however, when there are more and more ppl still encounter the same problem that the game administrator is trying to prevent or solve, then they should do more. As you all know diamonds are precious, I'm sure every players are being as careful as possible, but sometimes there are traps that easily got fallen, the game administrator noticed before and invented this function, I think they could do more improvement and remove traps for us. This is on both sides.
