Charizar's New DE Troop!

I've see so many threads started on a phoenix and they don'thave stats and I am getting annoyed.

What I thought for the Phoenix was like how it is described in mythology, amajestical flame bird of destruction. Or like in Chinese Mythology: the female dragonthat well is the female version.

Read through all of this before commenting andplease give advice if you don't like something.

Special Ability:Now I know that all dark troops have some ability, Minions with Seeking Airmine Invisibility, hogs with wall jump, valks with splash damage, golems withgolemites so I thought it could be an Inferno tower regen ability. I willexplain more later on in this

Special Ability: The phoenix has a regenability that allows when it is getting attacked by an inferno tower it gets healed by 25% of the damage that it would receive usually. (I can change how this would work if too many people don’t like this).
Weaknesses: The Phoenix receives 2X damage from X-Bows. Thisevens out the Healing effect so the Phoenix isn’t to OP. Also as a counter tomulti-infernos it absorbs the multi flame shot (only 2 of the shots) and heals itself by half the amount of those shots combined.

This ability can be changed so at lvl 1 it restores 10%, at lvl 2 15%, and lvl 3 20% depending on what you think

I like the idea but I did my like the ability. Does that mean the inferno tower will be useless? If it will be invulnerable to the inferno tower, make the tower not hot the bird because it will waste the loaded dark elixir. Also instead of invulnerable, make it 75 or 50 percent resistnce

I just commented on a similar Phoenix idea. I think some of your attributes and the other post's could come together. I really would like to see a Phoenix in the game.

Good point yeah I'll make it 50% heal only so it can recover to much hp. That way the x-bow will be able to take it down easier and the inferno tower won't be completely useless. I was also that the next defence like ive seen could be a nice tower that slows troops down to half speed and damage. I will change that and the multi will still target 5 targets but 2 of those shots will be absorbed by the phoenix.

Great idea..... But pheonixes rise from there dead ashes as a new pheonix when they die. That could be a cool ability.
but that is similar to the golem, with his golemites. Take note that the ability would only happen once per battle.

I love the pheonix idea and that they need to put it in the game.

Think of something other than a pheonix, how about a rancor from star wars, or some fire monster that flies (sounds like a pheonix still yet not bad at all) Great job!

I feel that the phonix should take only half damage from the inferno tower because being healed by a defensive unit is not only a free healing spell but destroys the whole point of building the inferno tower in the first place. If the damage of the inferno tower just did glad damage or mabye even a third of its damage against the phonix i think it could be a balanced and versatile unit.

I understand what you mean. The phoenix does revive it's after it dies, myths but I didn't what it to much like the Golan and the golemites. Thanks for the feed back I hope that clears up what I was inteanding to get from the phoenix's regen ability as it is the closest thing to rebirth.

I understand the point of building the inferno tower but as I've seen in the forums so many people complain about inferno's are to op. I also understand the importance of the x-bow and that is why I made them have a 2x strength against the phoenix. I hope that ballences out the phoenix's heal ability and it then allows those that have worked hard to get both to reap the reward.

And..... How much is the dps of inferno towers? 30 dps right? It wont be much of a problem then... Wait, thats the dps of the (much complained for being overpowered) disco mode! The single (and much less or never have been complained for being overpowered) have the top dps of 1000 at level 1! Thats 500 healing per second! It would make the phoenix unstoppable! Three lvl 1 x-bow have the combined dps of 150, and even doubling that amount, its only 300 dps. Imagine if two lvl 3 single target inferno towers aiming for your phoenix...

While this troop might be a good counter against discos, single target mode will become a liability against it..

IMO, the ability, as it is, is totally overpowering because of the massive dps of single target infernos.

you also have to remember that the air defence will be attacking it as well. But I have taken this into consideration and have decided to change this to 25% heal, I hope that seems better.

Thanks for for the feed back it really helped with those extra stats to show the flaw in my troop.

I think as it gets leveled up it absorbs more healh for example at lvl 1 it absorbs 10%, than lvl 2 20%, ect

Probably the worst idea to revisit this idea but now that all but a new dark troop has been added at th lvl 10 I thought this might aswell have another go and see how it turns out.
