Please stop making incredibly expensive new stuff

I know supercell enjoy getting more money but can you please instead make some different avatars or new skins for the troops instead of bringing new stuff that only rich people can afford? Unless i play for 3 years i wont be able to finish everything thats on the game so far..

not everybody can spend 15 thousand dollars in a game, so please make some extra stuff that you can buy from gems without interfering so much on the gameplay, because its really stupid to make a pay2win game like this

But youre doing a good job, you can't realize this until youre a high level, so youre already connected to the game and probably spent some cash in it

Not only are they expensive, but they suck!

It is a little bad how you can't come even close to being good with out spending money, but I'd say 15 thousand dallars is a hyperbole.

I mean, first you take away from us, the people that really try to play the game the way it should be supposed to be, the possibility to farm from lower level town center, now you add this so people spend all their moneys on it, and some people, aka bad players or spoiled boys really do. Thats just dirty job.

Gubert it's not expensive... The new troops are optional and so are most of the stuff....for example the new barrack is 750 k elixir.... So what?? That's pretty cheap and was targeted for high lvl players..... For someone who spent 15 k on COC you should be in the top 200 chillaxing....

When an update comes with new goodies, it doesn't mean you need to get everything in it. I'm taking it slowly, moving on at my own pace, and enjoying the journey while it lasts.

I'm on my ipad so its hard to research, but make the math of dark elixir collectors to level 6, heroes to 30, de troops to 5* and dark elixir storage to 6, im pretty sure you cant upgrade it all in 1 year, and they keep will prob release some more stuff in the next 3 weeks or something

and im a high lvl btw

Judging by the 500000 "Coming Soon" bubbles in the DE Barracks, I surmise that SC will continue to pump new troops out....

I don't understand why this is a bad thing. If you enjoy playing, it's a great thing that there is so much to work towards in the game that it will keep you entertained for years. I can only hope they keep going strong with the updates so the max playtime I can get from the game becomes even longer!

Yeah im not enjoying this game anymore i think, i feel silly wasting 5 mins of my life trying to find a good target with 150k+ resources, something i could so in 15 sec with a good filter

Even for farmers - since the level 6 troops update everything is becoming more expensive. Either you farm for days, or you gemtech. Problem is - the gameplay is the same, but the upgrades are overdone. The new troops are good priced, but their upgrade time is absurd. What happened to all the 1d, 3d, 5d upgrades? Everything now is aimed to be 10d +.

If a single click of "Next" will bring up a base of atleast 100k and above as loot, guess what ?

1) There will be no point in people spending gems, since loots come by so easily
2) Such good loots will come to an end eventually as the amount of people looting will far overweight the production speed of the collectors/mine
3) Every single tom ♥♥♥♥ and harry will be "rich" Where is the bell curve now ? :rolleyes:

So be more hardworking if you wish to be the top percentile in the bell curve.

I just wish this update didn't come so soon. I feel like the last update is still new. Its a bit over whelming. But the most ridiculous thing is a video game that makes you wait two weeks for anything. Talk about testing your patience. I have to stop playing because all my workers are busy and all my storages are full. Okay so I go and play other games, but I have to wonder about this game sometimes. Like wow just relax supercell and let us play with the last update a bit (few months) before coming out with a new one. And make no upgrade over 7 days! OMG 7 days is still too long...

i wasnt even gonna answer you because your sentences dont even make much sense, but i just saw your videos and you got 4* barbs 4* giants and 0* dragons, whats your town hall level, 8? Im talking about late game here man, youre probably a guy whos gonna rage when he gets a higher level base, not the first ive seem with those characteristics

In regards to items available in game aside from decorations, pirate flag , additional builders, which will take longer if you rely on achievements and removing trees and plants etc.
All upgrades , buildings , troops, and upgrades do not, nor will ever require gems.

Just to clarify my point, free to play game. No purchase required to play or get to the top.

It will be no purchase required to get to the top if you dont make a new update for at least six months, otherwise its necessary to buy gems to get to the top, and thats the point of this thread i think

26k is actually pretty accurate. Maybe I'm not clear enough, 26k is required if you want to max out everything from the FIRST level. I'm not mad or anything, just pointing the fact. I spend my own hard-earned money for this game, not my parents'

Where did you read all that? You shouldnt have missed your text interpretation classes

So what, your budget for clash of clan is $200 usd per update/month ?

I took the none-gemming route and with 5 builders

at TH7, I spend around 1 month to maxed it

at TH8, I will be spending 62 days, approximate 2 months to maxed it.

According to gem calculator
(NOTE: This is not the amount of gems needed to max out each th, but just an example)
Excluding the gems needed to gem resources

th7 = 1 month = 3836 Gems, 5 builders would account for 19,180 gems

th8 = 2 month = 7536 gems, 5 builders would account for 37,680 gems

following the pattern, th9 will require more gems.

Updates that are released for TH9 will obviously be more costly than TH8 and TH7, as they will take longer days to upgrade, hence more costly.

Obviously if you intend to just gem every single new update, the amount of gems needed for each update increases.

Its not going to be fix, and obviously it will eat into your monthly budget for coc.

Lol actually I make about 20 000 in 3 days. Queen heading to level 3 and king to level 7. It's really not hard. Although people are loving this new dark stuff so I like to share :)

Go watch the YouTube of Jorge Yeo's interview. If you like the magnifying glass moving for 30mins to find a raid, go ahead and max everything.

As I mentioned in another post Supercell is clearly orienting the game for VISA upgrades.
This will kill the game in a blink unless they stop thinking like bankers.

there was a lovely game called castlecraft, i really loved it, but it started going the crystal way, now the servers are shut down, game's dead...

IMHO, as a game it was much much better than this one, still... gone...the end...

I used to be a massive Be a Tycoon player when that game was popular on Facebook and there are some parralals to this game. Unfortunately there was a massive move to paid items and people built incredible empires in days with cash, it was the start of the end. You try for months build up and to compete with other players but they can pass you in a matter of days and I understand that it's fair if you are prepared to spend you should be rewarded but there comes a point when greed sets in and it just goes downhill from there. Hope it doesn't happen but i have a feeling it will with Clash of the Clans.

Seriously, there is nothing new in this thread. More of the same whining about not being able to instantly complete all the upgrades. Remember, this is not just a game; it's also someone's business. Real people are employed by this company and they do not work for free. Game content must be updated periodically or they will lose the business of all those players that have already opted to spend money to complete the available upgrades. Those who pay to play make it possible for the company to allow other players to play for free. There is no requirement anywhere in the game to buy gems. Yes, it will take longer to work for all those upgrades if you don't want to spend the money to purchase them, but welcome to life. Learn this lesson early and it will serve you well.

Second, imagine how bored you would be after completely maxing your base and then realize that you wasted all that money, for 10 minutes of pleasure.

if yes then you should know that players are distinguished in good, awesome, bad or fails by their abilities ingame.
Now tell me what makes you a better player who spent 1 year in game by someone who joined last month and spent 10k ??

I think the REAL skilled people of this game are the ones who don't spend money and upgrade/max their base with successful raids.

Becoming a top player without the use of gems is obviously not possible.

sadly I believe this to be true and it's only going to get worse with more updates giving you more goodies that only players willing to spend money will be able to get. I am enjoying playing at the moment but I know in a few months it will all be too hard and I like a lot of others will just leave.

This is not entirely true. SC gives rich people the option to not only "cover up" their lack in time, but also advance much further more with gemming. If the playing field is really fair, the gemmers should not be able to max everything with gems right now - because it is NOT possible to reach that kind of progression status without gemming (Lv 10 walls, Lv 30 heroes, etc...)

So SC is either sly in this aspect - pretending to provide a fair playing field, or they just completely missed this point.

In my opinions, the only things wich are impossible are:

walls & heroes.

because that's too long and too expensive. But the others things like mortars, wiz towers, archers towers are really easy to maxed. I maxed wiz, mortars & canons without gemms.

But I agree for walls & heroes you can't maxed them without gemms, that's just impossible.

There is nothing in the game that is impossible to obtain without spending money, however I would concede that there are things that break the game for people who do not wish to spend money, i.e. Level 10 walls, as the grind becomes so tedious the game loses all appeal.

The game is of course competitive, there are plenty of people who choose not to spend money and so they naturally progress slower, I don't care that people get new troops in a few hours because they make no difference to the way I currently play the game. They're largely superfluous and there is nothing I can achieve with them, that I can't without.

Supercell need to consider what will happen to the part of their player base that chooses not to spend money, because as they progress to the higher levels they may stop playing as the grind makes the game more of a chore than a pleasure. Perhaps boosted weekends to ease the grind for those farming could work, but who knows?

I meant impossible to have maxed out heroes and walls without gemming now, within the time frame from when the update came out until now :)

It is of course possible if you grind 1 or 2 years to max those out without gemming.

I can see why alot of people complain about the prices etc. these people dont play coc as much as people like me do, so they end up with sleeping builders because there are no resources for them to upgrade straight away.

i started coc somewhere in november 2012. I was very tempted to buy some stuff with cash, but because a friend of mine didnt pay for anything in coc i didnt want to either so we could see who will be better in the end. I farmed enough gems from archievements for 4 builder huts, 3/4 of my village is black skull walls now and am farming happily at th9. 2 xbows started recently after i got my th9 and im sitting here with full storages waiting till my next builder hut is free so i can upgrade.

as you see, i dont have much problems keeping up with resources because i can play hours and hours every day, but also there is some strategy involved. Wich building to upgrade for best defense, layout of your town, the army you use for forming etc.

i do think if people have limited time they can still have enough resources. You just have to learn from the mistakes you make and adjust. Same as in life.

Im one of those persons with money, but what have I paid for? The nr 4 builder.

This game is one of the few free games you will find that actually are fair without paying to get over power things.
What you get if you pay is less time spending on the game, nothing less, nothing more.

I must also ask, how are they suppose to make money? They would stop the updates if they wont get any money, so think again kid. You don't find any defense that cost real money to set out or such, that would make your complaint rightfull.
They do also need to add updates for high lvls as they don't have anything to do whie the low nes always has.

Please correct me if im wrong.
