If you are on Android 4.4 you can use ADB from the Android SDK to record (no sound).
adb shell screenrecord /sdcard/filename.mp4
If anything earlier than 4.4 you generally need to root and then grab an app from the Play Store.
With a videocamera :rolleyes: They have a red button which always means, stop or record :eek:
