GoWiWi - Golem problem

Hey guys,

I have a problem: Im attacking in clan wars with 3 golems Lvl 1, 9 WB Lvl 5, 25 archers Lvl 5, 4 barbs Lvl 5 and fill the remaining space with wizards Lvl 5. In my clancastle there are two witches lvl 1.

I am a nearly maxxed out TH8 - my only problem is, that i never get three stars because i dont do enough damage, always 94%.

My question is now: Should i reduce the golems and build more witches or is the army composition good?
Furthermore what spells should I use? Im currently using two heal and one rage spell,

My alternative composition would be: 2 golems, 3 giants lvl 5, 9 wb, 25 archer, 4 barbs and many wizards.

What do you guys think about that?

Your target looks like an easy base to defeat with an army composition like balloons/minions. Seems a waste to use GoWiWi against it. But if GoWiWi is what you want to use then yes, you need more witches, and you need them to be level 2. The point of the witches in GoWiWi is to create a flow of skeleton meat shields to distract defenses while your wizards blow them up. If you have too few witches, and if they are only level 1, they will not make enough skeletons to be able to accomplish this mission and you might as well not even waste them.

Level 1 Witch only produces 3 skeletons every two seconds for a maximum of 6. A level 2 witch produces 4 skeletons every two seconds for a maximum of 8. That may not seem like a big difference, but it is when you have more than 2 witches! Even 2 max witches will make 16 skeletons together when 2 level 1 witches would only make 12.

Watching this theory on you tube, to golems with 3 pekkas using rage spells would do the trick. I did this a couple times and quit because although its effective not worth the cost. I am farming not after trophies. Golems are crazy slow try the rage spell on them if nothing else.

He is a town hall 8, thus he doesn't have access to lvl 6 balloons or lvl 2 witches.

To the OP, try using 1-2 Pekka's in your army composition. Possibly reduce 1 golem as the pekka will act as a meat shield as well. Try your best to deploy him similar to the heroes, he should be headed for the center.

There's easier ways to beat this base if you're nearly maxed for a th8 balloonion with lvl5 ballons should do it without troubles. If you have lvl1 golem and wanna use them gowipe is better than gowiwi

You can beat this base with loons lvl5 :)

10 dragons + 3 heal or 2 heal and rage is what I'd do.

3 golems is 90 spaces dedicated to "meat shields" basically.

Maybe try one golem, bring a handful more of wizards, or even keep the exact same army comp, but reduce 2 golems and bring 3 dragons instead...?

you just need more firepower, and you can't make witches yet..
