I recommend 28 balloons, 30 minions, and 3 rage spells. Deploy the balloons first to tank, and then deploy the minions to clean up. Drop rage spells where you see a group of balloons. I've found a lot of success with this army combo.
I've found there are two main keys to attack (besides army composition):
1. Timing of releasing your troops and spells.
2. Point of attack/entry into the base.
Often times good timing and the right entry point into a base makes all the difference. I've seem players waste 2-3 seconds of a spell because it was cast too early or too late. And, I've seen players attack a base from the wrong direction.
