Extra clan only for Clan Wars, possible?

Hello,

We are a social clan of 45-50 members, where many are semi-inactive and can't play every day. We have won our two first clan wars, but are about to lose the third as only half of our attacks have been used. How do we handle that?

Here's our "plan":
Create a 2nd clan purely for clan wars, where the leader is an alternative account with no (perhaps 1000) cups. We then transfer 10, 15 or 20... etc. members and search for a battle. That way, only those who wish to participate in a battle will take part - and we ensure 100% activity.

Do you see any hurdles? Can we make sure the low level account won't take up one of the, say 15, spots? Will we be eligible for searching for a match right away?

Would like to hear your input/thoughts.

That is exactly what we did. The low level "watchdog" account leaves the clan before the war is declared and returns right after to keep the clan up and running, while the members are hoping between main and war clan.

Yeah, alright, I guess he might as well leave meanwhile.

Can you transfer back to main clan immediately after?

The only issue is would be players would need to return to the clan wars clan to attack and then return back to the primary.

Also you are in spectator mode with a 'new' label when joining clan for first several days so do you make everyone elder to get around that hurdle (elder does get around this issue BTW, tested it already)?

Interesting idea if you have enough people to work with.

or maybe supercell can update the clan wars where the leader and coleader can choose among the members who can join the clan wars.

That's exactly what we did, create a "war clan" for those who want to go to war, no need to kick out inactive members from main clan.
