A good idea to all the waiting around. Another good idea would be a surrender option, if you are getting wasted by say 10 stars with only 3 attacks left, you can surrender the war.
There would still need to be time limits in place though, I.e only 1 war per 48 hour period, or else you could have numerous wars in a day. Which would throw heaps of loot into the game... Wait a minute...
Bad idea. The other clan would take advantage and hit the "prepared" button while your sleeping
The idea was that both clans would have to hit prepared before the battle started, so the other clan wouldn't be able to start the war until your clan was ready.Quote:

well for low levels prep day is annoying, though for higher levels we have to work out the best strategies for each base with the clan, we have to figure out who fights who, we work out the best armies and scout out the enemy bases and give each other the best possible army to defend the base, we build war bases together and we make sure every single one of our members is aware and ready to war, some member of the clan our from different countries so it takes a little longer to get all this information around to everyone.
so in the end the 24 hours of preparation is useful and needed.
There's no way for any one person to know if everyone in the clan is ready, not in a full clan. Maybe in 10 man clans, but not the larger ones with diverse memebers.
Even if you allow for everyone to have a ready button for themselves individually, who's to say all 50 will ever be ready under 24 hours? Some people forget about coc for a few days. Then what if you force them to be ready, but I was planning on finalizing my war base before war day in order to maximize my farming? Or I change my baseto war but having to wait for others to hitnready, and never do? Then I get raided by non-war enemies and lose my loot?
I typically wait until the last hour before inset my war base, let it snap shot my base, then convert back to farming.

Seems you missed the point: If you play 1 clan war per day, you will get many resources once you get a win.. They don't want this because of GEMS!
