When did the Single Campaign maps (at least the Sherbet Tower) get updated?

I waited till I get level 5 giants for my second shot at the Sherbet Tower in the Goblin Campaign, only to realize the layout has changed from the last time I tried it. Did this upgrade with the lvl6 troops or with this one we had today? If it's just today then unlucky me I had the giants yesterday but put off trying it till today.

First there's added bombs on the outside of the wall where the Elixir Storages are. Then the mortars got switched with the AD. And the weapons got upgraded as well. I guess they made them more difficult because we got stronger troops, rather than giving us more missions.

But oh well, I gotta try to think of a new strategy to defeat it rather than copying what others did, which I can't anymore. Wish me luck.

Edit: I remember I was short for Elixir for the Giants upgrade and was so sleepy so I took some of them from the side storages using archers. So this definitely is part of the new update.

So glad I finished up Sherbet Towers a few weeks ago. There were no bombs outside the walls by the Elixir stores at that time.

I did it with LVL 4 troops at TH7 and a lvl 1 dragon in the CC. It was tough, but I found a great youtube of a guy that did it and just followed along. Placing the archers so they didnt draw fire from the mortars was the tricky part for me. Had to restart probably 5 times before I got both of them right.

That's the same one I was gonna copy I believe, with a few modifications. Won't work anymore, the mortars can hit the archers from where they're at now.

I just noticed it on Rolling Terror as well. They upgraded some walls and added some hidden tesla's :(

Ouch that sucks. It looks a lot harder now. They moved the mortars to be able to target the archers going for the elixir storage. Before you could use one archer each side to destroy the storage then break the walls. Also all the upgrades on defenses will make that level a lot harder. I'm glad I completed it a few weeks ago.

I have a feeling youll need level 3 pekkas now.

Someone made a post about that. I thought it was you but it was another member.

Ok I just defeated it with almost the same set up I planned to defeat it with. And apparently other maps got updated too.

Some of the other maps looks much harder now. Before they changed them you could finish all the maps without pekka. Now it seems pekka are needed for a few more of the advanced levels.

Well for Sherbet the added some traps, bombs, air bombs and hidden teslas and the levels of the defenses are higher. But I didn't have to use a Pekkas. Luckily I only had to drop the 4 archers I came to the level with after realizing they're useless now and replaced them with more wbs.

I had 33 lvl 5 giants, 10 wbs and a lvl 2 dragon.
lvl 5 BK
CC troops which I didn't intend to use but had no option left:
1 lvl1 Valkyrie
2 lvl 5 barbs
3 lvl6 archers
1 lvl5 giant
1 lvl5 wb

3 lvl4 healing spells

Hah, I just beat it today, but I pretty much brute forced it.

2 wall breakers top left into the area where all the air defenses are.
6 pekka through the hole
4 dragons unleashed bottom left once the last air defense was dead
