I upgrade my TH to 9 after i reached lvl 100
Well I'm a max th8 not counting troops and I'm lvl 92
There is no magic level because someone like me can have a th8 mini and keep at the same th level for years while it keeps accumulating XP. My TH8 is level 123 and I don’t consider it anything special. I use it for war, clan games, donations to low level clanmates, and for the fun dragloon attacks I miss so much in the higher town hall levels. In a nutshell, XP level of a base doesn’t mean anything so there’s no need to compare your base to the others that you see out there.
I have a TH10 at level 228. I'm not impressed with it because it just doesn't matter. :) It's cool that I'm fairly high on the leader boards but it does matter at all.

Iit’s still a really good guideline Stormheart, and shows that XP doesn’t mean anything.
I have a friend with max th8 level 94. Everything is max and his donation is about 400 in whole career.Also, his builder base is good
