"Well,Lets start with his core.triangulated mortars,and wizards in a line covering the base is fantastic.Also his air defence is coverage is amazing,along with that centralised clan castle!

But his second layer,woah,is completely recourses!Why?Well this base is designed against defence targeting troops,and any defence lovers-like me,I do have to say-are not interested by all that junk!

But,that outside!defences!We just wanna smash the outside defences to pulp,But we have to go round the spikes on the outside of the base,and get hammered by the explosives on the end of them!!"

As you can see,The giants/Troops will go round the spikes,get 'Trapped'And then repeat this all the way around the base,or go onto the spring trap.

Nice base, good job!

Only thing i would advice is to get both Air Defences in your core, and move one storage from the core to the "ring".

1. Your wizard towers will not protect any of your outside defences from ranged or air attacks.

2. Your mortars do not protect 6 of your outside defences from ranged attacks.

3. Air defences need to be protected and centralized.

In my opinion, these are HUGE faults that would need to be addressed, or at least, tested.

The troops go round the base,get killed.even air attacks will.

I may actually use this to help you test because your results may not be very good as you are not maxed yet.

Sorry man think you need to go back to the drawing board on this one. To many exposed defenses, Air Defense needs to be better protected, core is to big for a Town Hall 7, poor placement of traps, Wizard Towers should be protecting Gold Storage's, and the base is only two layers thick three layers would be better.

The hog ring won't work against hogs. There just aren't enough defenses around the edge for hogs to actually follow it. I wouldn't recommend a th 7 anti hog base anyway, because you probably won't get raided by them.

How does it work against normal troops? Battle logs would be cool.

Thats where ill come in! I figured his def logs wouldnt be accurate because he is not maxed so i will test it too!

Interesting my only gripe is a exposed air defense. But other then that its hard to do anything new at th7 so good job.

Thanks!It is intended for giants,and they go around the spikes onto the traps and/or through onto a spring trap.I will improve it once more attacks come in.

The whole idea is to drag around then outside and not the inside.

The thing is this base is vulnerable to giant healer. Take out the outside air defense and watch your giants go around. The only thing that can stop them is the spring traps. Then, by the time the inside air defense gets to the healer, the giants can waltz right in and destroy the rest with only little splash defenses on them that won't take out a fully healed army of giants

I read your amusing post and I get that is the idea, I am just not sure it will work like you want it too. With the Air Defense offset and unprotected I think a Giant, Healer, Archer combo could do serious damage to that design.

Try replacing one of the inside storages with the other air defense. This will close a huge amount of issues.

I just noticed how easy it is to get that th inside for clan wars so I like it a bit more but I still feel giant healer could kill ya

Well if they get inside they do a merry-go-round inside the first layer while under fire from splash or just get bombed on the giant path.

The problem now is loot. They can break through one level of walls and get to all da monies

Hopefully the splash shall kill infantry faster now,so I don't really know how well it is against tier 1,but I have a whole core full of splash,infantry's worst enemy,so I can hope It does well.

There are a few useless wals making a double layer.
The giant bombs would be used better in between buildings.

We all see what you were trying to do, but the easy solution to your master plan of "having giants go round and round getting hit by traps" is trumped by adding a few wallbreakers.

because this is a TH7 design I cant say much. But there's one thing you need to take note.
Since this is a farming base, farmers usually carry around lightning or healing spells around together with mass goblins. (Which will most probably negate CC troops or wiz attacks.) We all know that mortar attacks at this point are usually distracted by the giants on the outer layer and the third mortar will be too slow to hit those fast moving goblins.
Your only issue now is whenever your wiz is under construction it's very open to goblin attacks. Now I'm asking. Is it possible to make a small compartment for builder hut or some smaller building at near the separation of each segments for wall breaker lure?

I always have wiz or drag in my cc...dead goblins!

i see youre trying to pull a tesla theme park style presentation and base but its not a good idea simply because youre still a th7....making those kind of bases will not work mainly because of lack of walls and defences and even with maxed defences you are just nerfing them with that design...

for th7s the best thing is to go with the usual style bases...it really works best for them...some funneling is definitely good and your base will cause problems for giants but i can see a lv 4 BARCH possibly getting at least 70% along with all your loot and a lv5 barch would destroy you even if the base were maxed:)

th8 is when you can really start experimenting with base designs...i recommend saving your creativity till then:D
