[Video] First New and Improved Wall Breaker AI Video is out !!!!

:o Manage to record a gameplay before I accidentally "afk" from my phone and it asked me to "Reload the game" :(

Here you guys go. :p These wall breaker are sure smarter in a sense. But still require skills to proper use them IMO.

Yeah, I just did a raid myself and... I think the current implementation is going to be worse in terms of "tricking" wall breakers -- particularly with the double pop cost.

The good thing about the person who is the only tapping every single wall breaker in such basic video is that, you tend to learn better by "executing" it yourself, instead of just viewing http://forum.supercell.net/images/smilies/smile.png

Here is an egg crate being destroyed using the new wall breaker AI.
I must say its awesome that it can target the inner wall straight after the cannon walls were destroyed.

At the deployment point,
First priority for wall breaker: Destroy walls covering cannon
Second Priority : Tunnel in and destroy the wall covering the inner core.

Once first priority is complete, it will proceed to second priority as shown in the vid.
And look at the splash impact omg.

I don't see any strategic deployment. Anyway, as of first 2 attacks... WBs gone dumb? They just don't go over the next layer wall... They go on an intersection or whatever you may call it instead of the next targeted layered wall.

In game they seem to just want to break the closest box ignoring depth in base. This is going to turn bases into grids.

e: Not sure if they'll respond to partial or "unclosed" boxes. If anyone has evidence please post. I've set some up outside my base to see if they draw.

Erm, I'm sorry if the wall breaker deployment didn't reach your standards Pedro :p

This vid is meant to cover the New Wall Breaker AI down to the most basic.

Standard 2 layer breaking, deployment at funnel entrance.

FYI, there are a few cases where I tried the diagonal WB deployment, not sure if you catched that.

And as you can see, they don't specifically target T junctions, unless you aim it to be so.

My WBs went for corners that are completely irrelevant rather than going a straight line. Still looted 430k, but their AI forced me to use more troops than preferred.

Yup, still need to take some time to handle the new wall breaker AI.
They can do weird things at times.

Lots of those bases were very open compared to what a player uses. They seemed to get very erratic, perhaps they don't target as straight any more and if they don't see something enclosed to open they just go for any wall. This is probably fine as long as the can see closed walls from a ways out, otherwise you might get trough a layer or two then they will start blowing walls uselessly. Corner deployments look like they should work based on the video.
I'd like to see some extreme spikes and boxed bases.

Thanks for this. Will have to see more evidence as to why somethimes they still got attracted to walls with gaping holes in them whilst at other times the weaved a path through to the core. Not panicked over my new TH7 design yet though.

;) Was kidding regarding the "standard", was intended as a compliment for you :o

I agree there is this randomness around it. I just made a second vid, and part of the gameplay shows no matter how well you position your wall breaker, it just aims dead for the T junction a few boxes away from the deployment.

Agreed with most portions of what you said.

Corner deployments seems extremely easy now to be honest lol.

But yeah, single players with 200 wall breakers, thats the most efficient way to test the core basic of how these wall breakers work.

In a few hours time, most likely those videos will appear from your fellow youtubers :o

Yeah, just made a second vid.
There is this particular map that has a few indentation, with walls that works similar to spikes. But I just can't seem to let the wall breaker target the walls that are "indented" inside. which is opposite of what we saw in the video.

There is still this sense of uncertainty when using the new wall breaker.

They seem at their best when they have a corner or junction to aim at. I wonder if something like this where they have nothing to really focus on could work for my low level.

Yeah, the Ommahha Beech one was a real eye opener.

It was targeting the OTHER side of the base :eek:

I was actually targeting for the wall inbetween the mortar and archer.

Another thing that seemed fairly consistent was that they target straight from the deployment spot even if that isn't the best wall to hit. Steel Gauntlent, I think, was a pretty good example of a player base i might encounter. Once the outer wall is breach it should ignore everything else and go after the inner wall.

That will be the inherent problem with a level 7 or lower base. With the extra blast radius it will be hard to create a workable base that cannot be beaten by 3 or less well placed busted open wall segments. The scope for creating a base that can withstand these guys will belong to TH8 and 9 only I suspect.

I liked Daddy's 200 wb spam also. I don't think he raged(x3) though. And at the time wbs didn't have such a large splash radius.

Yeah, they increased the splash radius.. quite awesome actually.
The initial radius was 0.8. I think it increased to 1.0 or slightly bigger, say 1.1.

Well, this is basically the last time i could spam 200 wbs, so i thought adding rage spells would fire up the battle!
