Clan Wars is a 2 day event. The resource gains from this war is rather insignificant for the 2 days period. I believe there should be some more incentives to spike things up.
1- attacking : whether u win 1 star or 3 stars, u end up with the same bonus. I believe if you add 10-20% over the bonus for winning 3 stars, it would be cool. Players will think twice before attacking a certain base.
2- defending : some small bonus for defending may be cool too. After all, you can only gain resources up to what your clan castle can hold. Maybe 10% for successful defenses.
3- overall atk: gaining max 30 stars, resource gains by members should be multiplied by 1.2 - 1.5.
This will increase everyone cooperation and coordination in trying to win a perfect 30 stars.
4- Special Scenario : SC may consider giving max reward (clan castle can hold) to the clan who receive 0 stars / 30 stars for successful defences.

I absolutely agree with you. Like you, I also have a farming defense base. The highest anyone got on my defense is 70%, and that's usually from a TH9/10 (I'm a TH8).
I definitely wish that there was an extra bonus loot, like:
- 100K Gold
- 100K Elixir
- 100 Dark Elixir
That was a great suggestion.
The problem with this is that it is bit unfair.
How come some people get attacked seven times and on the eight the enemy finally started him and I sit here not getting attacked?
There is a rished town hall ten just above me on the list last 3 or so wars or so and people always go for him and I'm untouched.
This is a really good idea. Even though noone attacks me in clan wars it would be cool if they implemeted it. Maybe 50,000 gold and elixir and 50 DE. It would probably change base on level or somehting though.
Yeah, this idea could be a little unfair. Some bases never get attacked. If the loot gained is set too high, people won't even attack, they will just make ultimate bases, sit back, and collect the defense loot. However, if the loot bonus from defending was significantly lower than attack loot, it is conceivable. For example, what if the defender receives the available loot left over from the attacker's attack? That way, no more loot magically appears out of nowhere than the loot that already does...
I like watching how this idea develops. :)
