New TH8 Needing help with resources
I'm a fairly new Th8, only about a week or so in. What trophy range should I farm in if i want Gold/Elixer to upgrade my troops and buildings? What army comp should I use? Should I stick to Barching or branching out to other comps? Also, I heard that DE farming is somewhat easy at TH8 but what range would I farm at and with what comp?
Sorry for the nooby questions, I don't really get a concise answer from my clan and I don't have much experience with TH8.
And is it just me or has Clan wars really slowed down farming? I rarely get any bases with high loot.

First, it's not just you. Clan wars has actually slowed it badly. It is also because of the loot penalty so now some of the bases looted for a 3 star would be much less. I am going to make a farming base for th8 and if I come up with one I will show you it. I still have th7 maxed troops too. I am using 2 healers, 10 wall breakers, 18 giants, 10 wizards, and 22 archers. It takes soooooooo much longer to find good loot over 300,000 of each resource like you know, but I think clan wars is really going to help, because you can find so much more de now. I am right now sitting around 1300 trophies in Silver 1, and am finding loot here, but because of clan wars you have to push higher to find loot. I am definitely going to go to Gold, but since I don't push, it is taking a while partially because I will drop 30 trophies to get 250 de while only using 10 of my archers, which they're easy to train back. When I reach gold, I will definitely need that new base and to upgrade my troops, but that should be easy. I really hope this helps and tell me if you need help....
And btw, if your clan doesn't help you much feel free to join mine, it is called Gone Scratchin. I think you will love it. It has players on all the time willing to help. We are also very coordinate with clan wars. Today I have been on forums all day otherwise, I would've been on Clash. Feel free to join you seem very nice and like a loyal team player.
