Why do some people only use 1 goblin to raid?

I was going through my battlelog and i saw itleast 3 people who only used 1 goblin to raid me

why?

They are dropping trophies

either to lower their throphies, or maybe by accident

They drop trophies at you, to get lower and farm.

Because they only need on troop to get your resources?

If you do have them well defended, then they are likely trophy dropping.

Either your resources are out of the way of your towers, cannons, etc, or more likely to bring their trophy count down.

I did this just today. And that base is full of loot.

Make them regret it. Revenge when you see they have loads of resources ... thats what I do ;)

I didn't look at the name of the base. I barely pay attention to them. All my eyes see is the amount of resources $$$ And yes, it hurts so, so much

And when i plan revenge i visit their village to figure out a stradigy and then the guy has so good of defences i will lose in a blink of an eye

So ya , i guess he is trophy dropping
