Was just wondering this. I am currently level 68, TH8 and I was wondering if the fourth builder's hut would still be worth it. Some of the higher level people in my clan say that the extra builders are useless to them as the upgrades are too expensive to have many if them going at once. So, do you think the fourth builder's hut would still be worth it to me and at what level does it become obsolete?
Depends on how fast you can gather resources. I'm at th10 and I'd like to have a 6th or even a 7th builder...
Never. They are always usefull.
If your clanmembers say upgrades are too expensive to have them all busy, it's a sign they aren't active enough imho.
Amen to that goodguy! I'm at th8 lvl81 and wouldn't mind more builders but if you don't spen enough time farming i could see them bein useless

There isn't a point where they stop becoming usefull (untill you have no more upgrades left) when you are say an almost maxed th 8 you probaly wont have use for all your builders as you will just have a few expencive upgrades to do, then when you upgrade to th 9 you will need them all again untill you are almost maxed for th 9.
This is an impossible question for us to answer, since we do not know your level of activity or efficiency. I think for most people, there comes a time where they are not active enough to keep all the builders busy. Sure, some people can stay active enough to need all 5 (if not 6 for Goodguy) but not most players. Keep in mind, the people here on the forums represent some of the most active, dedicated, and helpful people in the game and do not represent your average clasher. For myself, I have had at least three builders available since December as I upgrade walls and heroes at the end of TH9. So I am definitely not needing those extra two right now.
I found I could use 4 builders at TH8 and they were still useful at early TH9.
At late TH9, I almost always have 1 or more idle (out of 4).
The point really is though, that more builders mean you have to play (or pay) more to use them.
Are you willing and able for this?
Once you have maxed defences on a TH10 the 4th builder becomes redundant.
