Anything in the game files about a 2nd DE storage? Or anything that could help against DE lightning strikes?
Guys, I am taking down the upgrade costs of the de troops, since we aren't 100% sure of them
The new time to train dragons is 30 minutes? Maybe I'm a little foggy this morning, but wasn't it 30 minutes before?
Some other thoughts...:
Minions are cheap enough they should be able to be used for farming high end bases (although it will slow down upgrading your hero units...). It will force all TH9 players to change their x-bows to anti-air, which will change the ground game significantly for other troops. A well played TH9 player with dual pumping dark elixirs will always have enough DE to attack people with minions if the person has at least 150 or 200 DE to steal (which is very, very common at the moment, maybe not so much once the patch is in and people can make DE units). Because TH8 lacks xbows and some of the extra oomph to deal with L4 minions, it will make them extremely vulnerable to a TH9 attack (they can use minions more liberally because of that pump). The TH9 vs. TH9 farming game gets tricky, but it will make the L6 barbarians, archers, etc. stronger because of the change to the anti air xbow if you don't want to get minion stomped.
I don't see Valkyries being used outside of the high end game. They are too expensive for farming, unless they add more sources of DE to the game. Maybe we'll log in and TH9 can build more then 2 pumps? If you want a friend for life, donate them all valks to their clan castle. Having a bunch of valks pop up will pretty much stop any attack.
Hog riders is completely dependent on their AI. If they prefer defenses, then it might be worth having a couple on hand to pair with giants who soak the damage while the hogs take out the defenses before the walls are cracked. If they prefer anything, there will be too many ways to make them just whack on a pointless resource or something else and they will just get eaten alive. They also are too expensive to use them in big packs for anything other then a serious trophy attack.
Wizards might see more play now depending on the size of their splash. Also, you will make friends for life by donating wizards to someones CC for defense.
Balloons still suck, however if you couple them with minions, if air defenses get lucky and start on the minions first, it could actually allow time for your balloon to do something rather then rofl-explode before it even drops a bomb. They still take too long to build and take too much storage to ever be used effectively.
The dark elixir barrack will make it interesting because anyone that uses it all the time will be able to replenish their armies much faster. I never thought these new troops would be very useful to farmers, but if the minion is playable, I think they'll be a staple in armies due to their cheap cost and the added bonus of a fifth producing barracks.
